not really.
All of your content is great, but for some reason I really dig it when you talk about industry level stuff; what's selling? What happened to Prince? How have racquets evolved? etc....love it
The W. Clash feels great and I continue to have good results with it. If there is a weakness it tends to be volley power, especially versus moderate to slow pace shots. I'm no expert though. Informative video! Thanks
Great honest, informative, current tennis racquet information. I actually will read all the comments here to see others' opinions. Many thanks.
Epic video💯👌🏾
You’ve got a lot of Wilson clashes! Seeing a lot of people use them lately.
I just bought 3 Prestige MP 2021 310 gr. ( 2 at 307 gr and 1 at 308 gr. ca. 11 oz) unstrung but 330 gr strung ( 11.6 oz) with overgrip and anti vibrations-dingy. swingweight went from 316 to 338 gr. went from 1 point HL to 23 point HH just from stringing it and put on anti vibration-dingy and overgrip counter ballances. I put on string Head Master ( multifilament/syn gut) at 20,5 kg/47,5 Lbs on the crosses and 22 kg Pros Pro Hexa Spin( equivalent to Head Lynx Tour)
Sick inventory my man! I just bought Wilson ultra 100 😅 I’m in Toronto Canada
I have both the 9 pack and backpack geau bags. Love them and highly recommend
Love your channel!! Here in Vancouver, BC the weather isn’t helping either. Hopefully we can play a bit any time soon.
A suggestion for a new or updated video would be the best racquets to intermediate players or “weekend warriors”. If I’m not wrong the last video about it has like 2 years.
But again, congrats for the channel, loved the trip to Japan.
Cheers
Don’t you have indoor courts in Vancouver? I live in the south of Sweden and from October to May we play indoors only. There are plenty of them.
@@villiam7941 lucky you, let’s just say the demand of indoor courts here in raincouver simply overwhelms supply
Love your channel ❤
Not surprised about new Pro Staff 100 doing well. Any word on when the updated Pure Strike coming out?

Bro puts answers on Quizlet after he takes the exam 👸👸
What you mean ?
Love my recent purchase of a Head Speed MP…great all rounder…
Radical all the way! I love mine.
Yippeeee! Top 3 sellers all Wilson! LOVE IT!!!! ❤❤❤😂
Last time I played or touched my racket was many years ago. Middle school I was playing with a pro staff 6.0. Yes same as Pete Sampras then throughout HS I ended up grading to pro staff 5.0 hyper carbon stretch. In your opinion, what’s a similar racket of today that is something similar to that? RF is my favorite player but I don’t want to be one of those that just buy the racket because of the player that uses it.
West coast rainy weather. Vancouver! 😂 I have a blade sw 104 and rf 97 v13.
Hey I’m looking to get play tennis what racket should I get ? Should I invest in a pro racket ?! Thank you !
So you recommend buying the pure drive 2021 this year?
No way! I much prefer the brown to the black! Will say though that it does look a lot better once you stick an overgrip on it that’s not brown 😅
I really like the solinco whiteout 305
Brown pro staff is Wilson's best looking frame atm.
As long as it's a modern racquet, it's good enough. The proof? Pros use all kinds, Babolat, Wilson, Head, Yonex, Technifibre, etc... , so you just pick one, and if it's not too heavy or too light for you, then it's fine. And if you can't play well, it's not the racquet's fault.
Agreed. To some players, it is kind of psychological thing. When they play bad games, it will be all racquet's or string's fault.
And when they have this ego in their mind, the game will be worse and worse.
@Macoromni Actually string can affect your game much more than racquet, especially tension. I experimented with 2 lbs more than my usual tension and my elbow hurt. But it's due to age more than anything else. Had I been younger, I would have adjusted without any problem.
@tom sd got your points. About strings and tensions, maybe I am not very sensitive to it or can quickly adapt to it, I can randomly grab a raquet with any kind of strings& tensions and play my level of game without problems.
However, someone's level dropped dramatically (to me more like psychologically) after changing strings, but I had no issues to maintain my level with same setup.
@Macoromni It's mostly psychologically if the level drops. Pros change tension all the time, depending on playing conditions, which means they constantly adapt.
For me, I believe it's entirely due to age. My game didn't drop, and I adjusted to the higher tension, but any adjustment means your muscle, ligaments feel the difference. For a young person, this should be negligible, but for old muscle, it's different, which is why my elbow became a bit sore after the change in tension. So I will go back down to the old tension next time. At my age , I can't take a big swing at the ball anymore.
@@tomsd8656 I agree: Age, tennis skill level, string could make a big difference than the racquet alone. I guess that if the player's level is 4.5 (advanced) or above, he/she can use all well built tennis racquets.
The Clash velvet red looks great.
The Geau backpack is honestly an incredible backpack
thanks!
Can someone post his top 10? Its hard to watch without time markers 😂
1. Clash 100
2. Blade
3. Ultra 100
Good job on the channel......I would for sure buy all my gear from you if you had place here in Louisiana. Salel me a whiteout!
I'm in doubt between Clash 100 and Clash 100 pro, what would you recommend? I'm 50 years old and I play in the backcourt with a lot of Spin. my forhand is full western.
Go with the pro!
Harry has all the Clashes in his store 😂
Someone had a rough night. We've all been there 😊
With so many options how does anyone ever choose 😵💫
I have an old prince and considering it’s over ten years old, I’m wanting something new, but I have no clue on where to start. 🤷♂️
Video starts at 5:00 - just rambling before that
I cant believe Head Extreme is outselling Gravity MP or Gravity Pro or Radical
Hi! Can you recommend a racquet around 285 grams (unstrung)? Yonex Ezone 98 (305g unstrung) is too heavy for me and Wilson Hammer (235g unstrung) is too light. Thanks!
Babolat pure aero team weighs285 unstrung and is a great racquet
@@dineshnimmagadda8289 unfortunately that’s one racquet that I could not play with. I hit it into the net every time
Tempo 285
Wilson 97L v13 or v14 (290g)
Yonex Ezone 100L
Yonex Vcore Pro 97 (290)
Wilson Ultra 100
Wilson Clash 100 (295), but it's so head light that it feels lighter than 295g
Wilson Blade 98L
Dunlop CX 200 LS
Prince Textreme Tour 100
Yonex Ezone 100SL
Yonex Ezone 98L weighs exactly 285g. Great racquet!
The stock market joke gets me 😢😂
Yeah. That would be great if u could compare aero vs to new aero 98. I use aero vs but Im afraid to change to new 98. People around me say new aero 98 has less spin potential and less power. Is that true?
I felt the sweetspot was smaller on the 98 2023. More vibration as well. VS more maneuverable
@@Robust2013 huge thx!
How do the Pro staff 97 v13 age I've heard a few complaints about quality of paint....
Wilson paint quality has always been the worst objectively compared to Head and Babolat. So i wouldnt be surprised if the 97 v13 is also not the best
I totally agree with the Pro Staff cosmetics. They are simply vile. Metallic Brown?!?!?!?!? Yuk.
It’s beautiful
In the beginning I had the same feeling but now I’m liking the new color more than the old black.
Wilson is making a killing.
There is one super spin racquet three years ago, do you want to try it?
id like the pro-staff 100 in a lighter weight, will that drop later this year ?
1:10 Is the coach geau new business?
What is the name of Harry’s shop?
Brad Gilbert Tennis Nation
No segments of the video, no links in the description? Come on man
Why pro players doesn't prefer Clash? Is it unusable for them or they prefere blade/pro staff because of they used to them already?
The stiffness is extremely low, providing low return of energy. Easy on the arm though. So it's not in the pro market.
@@andysickles by saying that I wonder one thing for long time. Isn't strings more important than racket itself? I mean isn't the same thing if I put babolat spin master to pure drive to make it pure aero? I've never played tennis sorry if it is too dumb 😂
@@mustafa_sakalli the clash is unique is is far below on stiffness compared to the rest of the market. Rackets just change the feel with how much and where the weight is located on the racket. You have different sizes, head and beam. All of those provide a different overall feel. Strings are massively important once you at least find a racket that fits your needs.
Still feel an outsider with my Head Speed MP at our club, but really love the racket 🎾
Just demoed it and am switching from my Clash 100. Loved the control
I have 3 now 😂. Tried so many rackets but keep coming back to Speed MP.
What’s that white and pink babolat called?
Strike
Wait … will there be a new federer racquet even though he retired ?
How can I buy from your shop I’m from Texas
U would go to his online store I think he has one
@@Apparition-hl1vv could you help me with the link
I still cant believe they didn't release a 18x20 pro staff.....
Wilson Shift 315 is 18x20
@@MrSWW yes that has nothing to do with Pro Staff though
@@cybernetennis Pro Staff X is a 18 x 20 .
@@MrSWW incorrect its 16 X 19
Gravity seems like a homerun.
where's dunlop at?
Wilson has the best marketing but Yonex are the better rackets out of the bunch in my opinion.
I agree.
I was scrolling through instagram and my wife saw the Wilson Pro Staff pop up and she said, "you probably like that one, right?" My response was, "meh, but it's brown..." Why, Wilson? Any color but brown.
I like brown
😀
very surprised that all the top sellers are wilson racquets
Great observation.
Why does the Extreme Tour sell so well?
Its a good racket...not very heavy or too light with good swing weight in stock form...spin friendly and not bad on elbow...
@@niceguy5430 I ask because the 360+ generation needed a lot of modding to be usable (for me), so it doesn't seem very user-friendly for non-geeks. Is the Auxetic version more usable out of the box?
Wilson is now Chinese-owned. Forget it. Go Yonex! Go Babolat! It's a free country, choose your best racquet. I choose where my money is put.
Agreed babolat or yonex!! Im 4.5 and use aero 100 I would be using a yonex racquet (vcore 100) but cant get used to the head shape. But yonex 100% has best feel out of any racquet company.
@@kix5365 I think I am 4.2. I play with Juniors rackets. I used to play Babolat Pure Drive Team 285g, and developed Tennis elbow. A buddy told me to move up to 300g. I got the Yonex Vcore Pro 100 black. The Tennis elbow instantly disappeared!!! I quickly added weights and rebalanced my 3 Babolat to mimick the Yonex; they are much stiffer (less forgiving). Now, on important matches, my tool is the Yonex. The feel is amazing.
Everything is Chinese made also, no difference, except the top end Yonex.
Do your Head Boom MPs sell very well.
Watch on 2x speed
Too bad…vcore pro’s are meh! Big fan…but sadly think there will be no new version coming out soon
I like your videos but it took you more than 5 minutes to get to Point.
A brown Pro Staff is truly disappointing. Hopefully, Wilson will stop trying to jazz up a real classic and let it remain a timeless black.
It's not brown, it's a metallic gold/bronze, it's lovely in person.
@@timbrad It looks great, but older guys like me love the classic black. Some things look good in their original form.
@@timbrad support you 100%
@@MavenWorldwide No I agree the classic black is something special, but that new colour doesn't take anything away from the legend.
Your coffee sponsorship must be the worst thing that has happened to UA-cam. I mean views aren’t enough for you to buy your own coffee?? Talk about crystal generation 😂
The designer for Wilson Pro Staff is an anti Roger fan ? He use that color to kill this series ?
Wilson for the win.
