My humble suggestion is; If a player receives a red card, replace that player immediately with someone from the bench for the rest of the mach. Sanctions will follow as normal after the game. Don't punish everyone else, for one player's indiscretion.
The time limits that are imposed to ensure a faster game surely must have a negative impact on players. Rugby is played by humans, not machines. Rather, penalize players ripping the ball from ball carriers that made the hard yards only to be blown for a knock on. Most Ripping is illegal, and players have to now spend more energy to hang on to the ball. No Brainer. Wake up WORLD RUGBY.
