Beautiful. I remember when I was in Oakland at Santa Rita jail and the inmates asked me to call the adan and if I would lead the prayer. It waa the only time I lead the prayer, I felt powerful, I had 40 inmates behind me and they would not move or bow until I said Allahu Akbar and I bowed first. The guards and othee inmates couldnt figure out what was going on until they finally relieze we were praying.
Wow! As an American Christian woman, I THINK IT WONDERFUL!!! People who are faithful to Allah/God & are willing to serve him at any time & any place! To have such boldness & zeal for Allah/God! Thats true beauty! I wish more people were so zealous for Allah/God! I probly would have joined in =)... or is that not permissible??? Do women pray with the men???

It´s not something obligatory, and i would say is more like a certain according to teh students of ceratin madhabs. The only one who must cover their head durin gprayer and otherwise are muslim women.
