All these sequels being announced have my heart contorted. Imagine going back in time when this show originally ended and saying to the masses "IT SHALL RETURN 9 YEARS FROM NOW WITH MANY GOATED SHOWS"
Dude season two sucks they completely took out that serious look and replaced it with a goofy one in season one when the devil got his horn cut off he didn't even care or react to losing it he just stared at Emmy like prey. In season 2 however he's reacting to every little thing not only did they make him look cowardly when his horn got cut off but dude really got scared when Emelia pulled out her sword....
Still gotta get use to the new style but nonetheless still hyped for the new season can’t wait!

Yeah, I miss the older style, but we can’t expect it to be the same after so long. Of course it’d be awesome if they had the original animators make it, but as long as it still looks good and the difference isn’t too jarring, it’s perfectly fine.

One of my favorite anime gets a season 2 after 9 years. Also, from what I hear, Spice and Wolf is back in the works again ;)

@@danieldores around 4 months ago, it was announced that Spice and Wolf would either be continued or remade (the details are scarce). Kadokawa made the announcement and released some key visuals. It looks more like a remake but it’s something.

Still not fully on board with the art style yet but I'm still glad there's a season 2 though, hopefully they change that ending as well.
It's copying the light novel's art style.
Personally, I see it as it's been 9 years and animation as a whole has evolved a lot since then. I did enjoy the season 1 artstyle more, but I'm not against an artstyle change.

Been waiting almost a decade, but this feels as it's been cheap this season with me. I kinda feel like I'm missing out on more story, than what they gave us. This season sadly left me unsatisfied.

I'm REALLY happy this anime came back from the dead because I seriously never thought I would see another season after 9 years, but I don't like the art style they used. Any other anime, I wouldn't care, but the MC doesn't even look the same from season 1, and I miss the cool eyes they had in season 1 too
