My opinion is that the humans of Ente Isla put the evil in the demons not the other way around. And they won the war by driving Mao away. There is no reason to fight him anymore.

Crazy that the second season needed almost a decade to be made and the art and animation are 10 times worse than season 1.....
After learning how the LN ends, i am okay with having s1 in my hear and dropping the series
dude the start of this anime is so good. and then later the show just becomes rom-com baby stuff with demons and fights sprinkled here and there. i do appreciate their efforts to put in some lore, but it is disappointing how little we got.
This series was so damm different 10 years ago I only watched season 2 and 3 on got into mainly of Alas Ramas
