That outdoor enclosure is really amazing, we are planning something like that for our four piggies and I have some questions and I would really appreciate if you find some time to answer them - how have you done floor for that? Can you please share details? I can see, how it is holding on the wall, but I have no idea, how you did those drawers... Thanks in advance for any info...

I LOVE that little blue house. I've been looking for something exactly like this for my guinea pigs! I looked on ebay for home headquarters and I couldn't find it can you provide a link please??? TY!
This is absolutely ingenous, Lizzy. :) :) Just note that the hutches with the lift-up lids are very dangerous if used in a backyard situation (less of an issue for you :) given they are up close to the home). Roaming dogs and foxes are known to lift cage lids and kill the pigs. Tragically, I've had 2 lots of adopted pigs end their lives this way, even though one of the hutches was right up at the back door to the home. Oh, and the connecting pipe - is there any way of shortening the overall length of the pipe? Because its a slippery floor and it appears quite long, and because the pipe is a narrow diameter (90mm? 100mm is better, if you can source it), it would be a concern if two rather fat piggies were to go in each end and meet in the middle. Hopefully they could back out, but I've had several cases of pigs stuck in pipes and dying. A pair of girls suffocated in one of the long flexible pipes when they went in each end and couldn't back out. A boy that was supposed to come to my rescue died in a long piece of this pipe because he went in and couldn't get out as he was chubby and the floor too slippery for him to get a grip to pull himself through. No criticisms, though, cos you have inspired me! Just suggestions :)
Thanks for this info. The lids are fairly heavy, but I might get some hooks to hold them down from the inside to make it safer. The pipe is 100mm and I've seen all my piggies reverse from it when another enters, but we might try and get some thin rough surface to stick to the bottom to give them more grip. :-)
Hey! Love your setup. I have 2 male rabbits boned, do you not have any problems with flys and Mosquitoes? Some people use fly screen mesh to cover so no flys or mosquitoes can get in and cause a sickness, but that also adds a lot of money.

I’m only seeing this now bcoz I’m looking to update my guinea pigs cage, but how do you clean it out? And do ur guinea pigs ooo over ur rug ??
