But apparently he walked directly into one of them and died. So i won because of that. So leaving them can actually be a good thing ngl xD

Update lowkey triggered me by changing all my sens and ads sens (yes I know you can make it go back to how you had it) but it still feels very different but at least mechs are gone

I’m not very good and I’ve been playing against sweats. Great matchmaking update. Also the new controller settings are sooo confusing I switched back to normal. Everything changed but nothing changed.

Hey marksman just in case you didn’t know cause you didn’t get your batarang back off the ground but if you through one and it don’t go off you can pick it back up so just a helpful tip
The best way I can describe the sensation (not necessarily how it literally works) of the new aim assist is it doesn't "feel" like you lock on, but almost like bloom favours your shots if that makes sense.

If the best player wins every BR then almost no one will want to play. Loss fatigue ripples through the player base, having leaving players exceed new players, leaving a game filled with sweats. If you want Fortnite to stay big then these changes are definitely needed. The Magic of seasons 1 through four/five was that almost anyone could win a game. Now that happens a whole lot less due to the sheer number of pros, content creators, and would be pros and content creators.

In my opinion, the new settings for console is better. No longer can you mash L2, which is annoying for us console plebs to deal with, but mostly for the PC players, instead it adds this new "feature" which changes how you input the look stick; either like modern warfare, in which you need to aim correctly or having it stay the same as before, which the game assists you with your aim. On top of this, the actual aim assist has been nerfed, it will only help you look toward the player, no longer right on the body. Keep in mind, I played Bo2, Bo3, Destiny ect. so having to aim more, and knowing that others have to rely on skill and not their L2 spam skills makes this a better experience.
Side note, when you lock onto a player who's not on your team, the cross hair will turn red to show that the shot will hit them with a greater chance of landing. Aiming on the tip of the head however, shows a white cross hair.

I’ve watched you for a year I’m a division 10 controller player with 11,256 hype, us controller players on pc, we can’t compare to any pc players in our division anymore from distance. First shot accuracy completely gone.
Marksman is right, you can’t teach and prepare a newb for cones if the bots aren’t that skilled. Also match biased skill making is a terrible idea. Me “usually a try hard in solos and solo duos” would always get matched with other sweats. But what about when I see a new glitch video to turn into props outside of pandora and I want to troll some people. Shits gon be hard when someone hears one foot step and uses 900 Matt’s 90 ing to the sky.
I kinda like the controller change, even tho i need to re arrange everything again.

Tbh, today I had the most fun in solos in a long time. I’ve been playing daily since late season 2 on console and I know I’m not that good. Only have like 30 wins lifetime. Today I never encountered someone I didn’t have a chance at beating and even had an opponent who was friendly unexpectedly. This makes me want to try and get better, because before this I always thought there was no point in practicing a lot in playground because in game I always had no chance against sweats.
Marksman, most people on pc over react to aim assist but you and wildcat are the most chill people about aim assist in the game
The L2 changed alot its not bad but it doesnt feel like it helps out a lot right now so they might have to adjust it a bit so it could help in another way than pressing L2 every 0.2 seconds maybe they should adjust the way of the aim lock to have a little timer maybe like 1 second to be able to lock on again, but its just an idea

The new aim assist helps with mid to long range shots but feels awkward in close range since were used to not holding down L2 and spamming it

This update barely did anything for aim assist!!!! Because bloom is so RNG based, you can still end up missing 80% your shots while you opponent hits 80% of theirs (ARS and SMGs) shotguns are very dependent on getting 90% aim and snipers are skill with little/none assist. This update is pointless for controller players since there is still so much bloom!!!!!
Hope he knows that he didn’t get shot out by a heavy sniper but instead it was from a Bolt. Just hear the sniper shot
The bolt doesn't do 150 damage as a body shot tho

The new aim assist on the silenced SMG is literally a lazer. The only reason a controller player would miss a shot is because of bloom.
It’s worst now. People can bean you from miles, the can third party and actually hit you. But the noobs tend to be better with aim assist.

The game is almost unplayable for casual players like me. Like Its insane how in a regular solo the last 5 people have shotgun, SMG, ar, and 2 heals and max materials, That's literally it. They box up, double cone, pyramid peak, chase, like it's insane with how sweaty the regular lobbies are. Squad is literally useless to play without a actual squad, same with duos. Each game is now the 3 mill world cup. Its unplayable

I play controller on pc and the controller aim assist change is whatever to me, they took away l2 but I never really used L2 spam unless I was using an Ak or infantry which isn’t a big deal to me bc the scar was still the better weapon but I do feel like the bloom is a lot worse sometimes now but not the worst change to me

Really enjoyed this video. I dont mind the skill based match making but I would like to know what they measure it on. My problem is that I have a decent number of wins but not a massive K/D. And the biggest problem for me is I'm from South Africa so we play on 180 ping and skilled players like in champs arena take my wall first try every time so if pubs is going to that level of sweat it's going to be incredibly annoying to play this game without local servers

Yeah I See why they add bots and implement SBMM but nobody asks for this shit. This is why everyone likes competitive or ranked game modes. I personally don't play MP games to be competitive and try 24/7. I play to have fun and win. I like dominating. I hate losing. If I face sweaties then that's cool but I'd rather it be random or on my own terms.
