this is why rahman is best, does anyone even dare to make music like this in this generation. he has enough confidence to make this kinda music and make it as hit. using EDM musics and repeating the hit tunes doesnt prove you as music director. I've great appreciation for the music and the voice, sure. Everyone, before me have appreciated both the above. But no one seems to note the deep and lovely lyrics of Vairamuthu. After the periods of Kannadasan and Vaali, this is the poet who spins an attractive garland of words filled with fragrance of subtle and deep meaning in those words. Even though he is an atheist this song can point to the devine also (apart from the lover). May be after a few decades after the times of Vairamuthu, some fanatics may associate him with theistic personality referring to this song. What lyrics! Sublime music and sweet voice!

this is why rahman is best, does anyone even dare to make music like this in this generation. he has enough confidence to make this kinda music and make it as hit. using EDM musics and repeating the hit tunes doesnt prove you as music director. I've great appreciation for the music and the voice, sure. Everyone, before me have appreciated both the above. But no one seems to note the deep and lovely lyrics of Vairamuthu. After the periods of Kannadasan and Vaali, this is the poet who spins an attractive garland of words filled with fragrance of subtle and deep meaning in those words. Even though he is an atheist this song can point to the devine also (apart from the lover). May be after a few decades after the times of Vairamuthu, some fanatics may associate him with theistic personality referring to this song.
