Of course it's not in your school/lessens. Not one person or tradition knows everything and some instructors don't/shouldn't share/reveal everything, especially to
      mishiranu hito... Just saying...

What's the difference between iai and battojutsu?

why is the sword drawing technique so important in Japanese culture? It seems to be unique and not mentioned in the martial art of other cultures. Is it because in the ancient time there was a lot of assassination? For example someone pretended to be kind to you and suddenly attacked?

"Initially, it began as a means to protect myself and execute swift strikes. However, to perform movements like that, you need to synchronize everything. To achieve this, you also need to master meditation to become one with yourself and the katana.
Nowadays, these movements also contribute to maintaining good posture, overall health, and a sound mind. This is my method.

Thank you. I guess I start to know. Maybe it is like the cowboys' world. Since everyone carrys a gun, it is important to draw the gun quickly for self-protection. And in the modern time, this technique remains as a way of spiritual training.@@SAMURAIKAZARTS

How to become a samurai: Step 1. Get a time machine and travel back to the 1600’s.
Step 2. Don't worry about step 2 until you figure out the time machine thing from step 1, because samurai are only in the past, not the present, and not the future.

@@tiwantiwaabibiman2603 there are no samurai in the present. Read some history. The samurai class was abolished by emperor Meiji in 1868. You might be surprised that nobody from that time is still alive.

oh look, YT goof balls. This isn't Iai, this is LARPing. playing with swords doesn't make you a samurai.
