Always a class guy and is getting me through my stage 3 neck cancer . Just finished 36 rounds of radiation and 8 rounds of chemo. Read the book a couple of times! Thanks, Enzo! And to chicklets
I thought "Boikeys" were something you get from puck bunnies. Like "Hey boys, where's Shoresy? Oh he's upstairs gettin a Boikey from Chapsy's billet sister."
Born in Chicago and lifelong Blackhawks fan. Saw my first game in 1971 as a six year old. Makita, Hull, Espo were still there. Played some youth hockey, beer league etc... Edzo may have saved my life. His battle motivated me to get a colonoscopy. They found very early stage of cancer. I'm currently receiving treatment and the outlook is positive. Eddie was a gamer. On his last shift as a Blackhawk at the end of his career, he blocked a shot and had to crawl back to the bench.
I am a heart transplant recipient. After my heart transplant I play ice hockey. I am 40 years old and I am 3 years out from transplant. I can relate to Eddie's story of struggle. Glad he did not give up! You never, ever quit. Would love to meet him.
I played against Eddie in midget hockey and everyone knew then he'd probably be skipping college and Major junior A and going straight to the league, but for as good as he was, he never had the big ego like some players who know they're a shoe-in at an early age. His parents must've raised him right. Class act.
I watched Eddie O play jr B in Stratford ON..When he touched the puck.the fans were on their feet because it was usually an end to end rush ending in a highlight reel goal.. Nobody could touch him, you knew then he was going to have a great NHL career. The rest is history.
Lost my grandpa from colon cancer a few years ago. Eddie's battle hit close to home. Colon cancer is an ugly, ugly cancer. I am very happy for Eddie O and his family that he (and his family) we able to come out of it.
Eddie O is a class act. I'm so happy he's doing better after that cancer scare. It's a dream but I wish he would coach the Hawks or be the GM something higher in the organization I think he would help tremendously because he knows what the Hawks need. Just my opinion
Went to Olczyks hockey camp back the year he got inducted into the hall of fame. Was the most down to earth coach I've had at a hockey camp, but also managed to be the toughest camp coach I've ever had.
Eddie's such a genuine guy. I remember sharing a hotel ride up with him. I noticed him and said hello and we had a conversation. By the time we got to our floor he had given me all his money
Love Eddie . I remember as a kid having him and Leaman sign an actual cheque of mine at an autograph session at the Shopper's Drug Mart at Bayview and Sheppard. Great Leaf.
I had flu-like symptoms and was constipated. Walked into the hospital and was basically instantly diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of ten. I was relapsed three times and never really had a coming of age like most teens. Fucked me up a bit but I'm in uni now doing Poli Sci.
@Kip Winner what kind of grown man complains about someone not wearing shoes in a video where Biz is most likely in his own house. Seriously you guys have nothing better to do than complain lol, you guys are legit pathetic.
@KingMastodon I understand completely. But it's hard to focus when all you can is feet peaking through, specially when the guy they're interviewing is in a full suit & tie. I've seen him in interviews with his legs on the the table. But I guess that's what makes him who he is. :)
Play some D1 US hockey play bouncing around three is juniors play pick up for almost 25 years having back surgery Friday and I hope to be back on the ice the following Friday goddamnit greatest game on the planet
True story: I went to red wings vs Blackhawks years back & entered the building already lit like F’kn Christmas & Eddie O was in the lower level concourse doing the pregame show. I notice & belt out ‘Eddie O whaddaya know!’ Dude was rattled and glances over to give the death stare mid sentence. Guess I can proudly say I got in Eddie O’s head that night. The few. The proud. The fans.
According to Wikipedia, Edzo does have 5 kids. He and wife Diane have 4 boys. It states he has a daughter at University of Alabama. Is he denying that he has a daughter?
Eddie was a great guest. Love how relaxed he was with the boys.

Keep fighting the good fight, man!

That made me laugh out load. Thank you for your service.

Eddie O, loved your playing time with the Leafs, you played great!

Barefoot biz
People who don’t wear shoes or at least socks…. 🤮
Youd think after all these interviews they'd have better interview techniques than "any funny stories you can tell us about "insert name" " like wtf
I'm sick of polished arse-licking media wankers.
Let these guys live.
Roland Kennedy I don't think there is much technique on these interviews
This is why the show is great
