“Whoever is the best talker and/or (more likely than you’re aware of) liar, wins!” Is what I constantly get from “how to ace an interview!” videos. Recruiters and hiring managers don’t care about you. They have a literal check list of exact answers and words they want, which makes the best showman the one offered a job rather than the person who can actually benefit the company.
6:06 I do like this advice a lot. It’s easy to start arrogantly host about yourself. I’ve had this issue before. Not near to the extent of your actor, but I know I’ve tried to upsell myself too much (even if true experiences)
