- In this video I will be showing you how to change your APN settings on a Samsung Galaxy S6 you are using through T-mobile so you can receive/send picture messages and catch 4G and LTE.

i follow the instructions but I noticed that the section where it says turn APN on/ff is gray an NOT BLACK .
How I make go to black and have the toggle key go to green.
Thanks for the tutorial. I just got a Verizon Note 5 and trying to use it on T-Mobile. Everything else seems to be working fine EXCEPT sending picture messages. I've input the APN settings like you have shown and able to receive picture messages but whenever I try to send a picture it just keeping saying sending. Then, every now and then I would see a pop-up message of network unavailable. Pretty sure it's relating to the picture MMS not being able to go through. Do you or anyone in here have any idea why or how to fix this? Thanks again.

I think I got it. The Verizon version of Note5 comes with its own messaging app and that was what causing the issue. I disabled it opting to the the regular messaging app for Android (yellow icon with white envelope in the middle). Go into Mobile Networks and set Network mode to "Preferred network mode: LTE/GSM/UMTS". Then, go into your application manager and perform a clear cache on any messaging apps that you can find (there should only be two). Restart your device and it should be working fine. I'm now able to fully send and receive picture messages. Hope it works out for you.

buddy u may have solve my issues with tmobile. wow. I have a canadian s8+ going to canada data stops working. I did this and its working right now. even tho its connected to canadian network somehow this made it work . I have both Data and Roaming working. Keeping fingers crossed. hope it stays that way. thx

@@Masoombolte it only works if your network is T-mobile. Check your network-providers' website for APN settings and copy it from there and fill it in your fones', access point as described in the video, it will work.

it does not work for me any way - internet+mms or default,supl,mms. T-Mobile sent me instructions and there I need to set MMS protocol: WAP 2.0 Button MMS Protocol doesn't exist in my phone Galaxy S6 under Access Point Names. Any suggestions?
Mine also is just like yours and to make things even more difficult I live in Montana so I am bouncing off of AT&T I can't get my data to work did you find any answers for the APN?

So, I just got sick of T Mobile and their shit service, so I went to Walmart and got Straight Talk. Everything works except MMS....so far, anyway. I've typed in default, MMS, supl in to the APN section. What the hell? Why isn't it working? Anyone?

This tutorial is not for me because I have everything set up but for some stupid fucking reason my mobile data just stop getting bars anywhere I go. I'm in my own home right now and I usually have a real strong connection without WiFi but no matter where I go I can't connect to mobile data
