- Racehorses are large animals with big personalities so it makes sense that some of them are a little crazy. But who were some of the craziest racehorses? our journey begins with the 19th and 20th centuries with some wicked horses of old who all managed to be champions but were also a major handfull.

Nice horse racing history. I knew of a few of these...been watching racing since 1972...but others I hadn't heard about. like Display and Ubedizzy. Thanks for the time and effort in putting up the video.

@@SketchyTheHorseGuy I probably own about 200 pounds of horse racing books, old documentaries on VHS tapes, trading cards, and even an old 1960s horse racing toy. But it's still amazing how much information is out there that I haven't come across. So again, thanks.

I love these. Are you including Buchiko in the next one? She wasn't violent but she was certainly... something.
She totally slipped my mind but looking into it her gate freakouts were numerous so it should fit. I ended up finding so many crazy horses in the last 23 years that I now have to make this a trilogy so it's likely Buchiko will be in part 3.

Could you please do the 5 inaccuracies with the movie dream horse as it is based of the national hunt horse dream alliance
National Hunt is definitely something I possess way less knowledge of compared to the flats but Dream Horse is a movie I do wanna watch and review down the road.
Display was not the Iron Horse; that was Discovery.
Yes and no, Discovery was more famously dubbed the iron horse but his sire Display was also called "the iron horse" by the New York Times
"back in 1926 Display won the Preakness and has been running ever sense hanging up victory after victory, until now as a 6-year-old he is more then ever the iron horse he was dubbed some time ago"
The term iron horse is also very broad and has been given to many horses before and after Display and Discovery.
