Thank you very much....on a road trip (solo) and met up with two guys who follow us and one of them found gold and silver in the same hole...crazy...it will be in tomorrows video...
Well after 43 years of metal detecting I have never found cat food on the beach. LOL. I have found just about everything else. Great hunt. Wish I had all them beaches here in Arkansas. LOL. You guys are awesome! Take care be safe.
Thanks guys for sharing. I was looking for a good entry level machine but i cant afford the new machines of 2022 so was looking at maybe an older one and as i want to do both beach and park hunting i wanted to get one that is good in both. I already knew the 540 was good for park and now i know beach is no problem for it as well so thanks very much. New sub ;)
Yes... the 540 has a good machine right in the middle regarding price range.... feel free to hit us up if you have any questions... Welcome to the channel
Thanks, thinking about upgrading my Bounty Hunter with a 540. Was nice to see gal swinging it. I like my BH as it is light weight but getting pretty warn out.
Wow! Great find on that GOLD Ring!!!! Congratulations to you! I also noticed you have a very nice swing, keeping the coil level and low to the ground. Great metal detecting technique. Keep up the good work and Happy Hunting!
@@DigginSoCalbut bill you need to watch the swing back and you Do miss Or move ahead with the Coil and I noticed it on this video and miss areas that are not being detected and it's on the swing back that is very noticeable and missing the targets.....
I can watch most video on my phone...but this was one of those videos that to be watched on the TV. I love that device that you use to dig and sieve, but that wouldn't be much use on our pebble beach 😦 Great finds 👍
cat fish lol great hunt you two congrats on the gold and silver :) minus tide Saturday 4:45 a.m bet there are some goodies around to be found Happy Hunting :)
i was the at Huntington beach one year with my XP and a young lady lost her platen ham and gold wedding ring engagement combined ring and found it , she was so pleased . value $15000 bucks. and every year there found so much cash in quarters et. first time detecting there was 1992 and every year since then and found so many rings coins ear rings etc. but as more and more started detecting the finds where getting less and less as it was 2019 . sadly due to the covid could not return this year . next year and another visit to the Star Wars Edge . happy hunting
Hi, pretty new to your channel, I hunt with a Vanquish 440 in Cape Town, South Africa, mostly beaches. Really enjoying your posts, love the banter between you two, and of course your finds! :-)
I'm sure you both treasure the time spent together :-) I don't post on UA-cam, but belong to a local group on fb - Treasure Hunters - Metal Detecting South Africa, have posted some of my finds there. Have a great weekend, looks like the weather should be good here (we're in the middle of wet and chilly winter!), take care :-)
Oh I'm definitely not found of the heat of summer when it can go up to 40˚C, but there is snow on the local mountains and a little further inland at the moment, and beaches have been rather rough. Having said that, managed to get down to our local beach yesterday evening and this morning for a couple of hours. The recent storms have left the beach mostly coated in mounds of kelp, but that which is exposed has some nice cuts! Found a couple of coins (spendables, and a South African 1 cent from probably 1970 ish, so toasted it had a hole rusted through it!) A nice multi strand silver necklace and a broken earring, that I think is silver, with tiny little stones, which may be diamonds! Of course also found loads of bottle caps, pull tabs and a tent peg ;-p Off again tomorrow to a new beach ... Enjoy and take care :-)
My Vanquish 540 is the best metal detector I have owned. And... I have owned a lot of metal detectors. I really like it when you mention the number of the hit. I always dig a 20. Especially when I hear a double tone. The ring she found, was it a gold or gold plated? Keep up the wonderful videos.
Wow! Good find. I went out today and found a ring. It is a cheap one. Looks like aluminum. Very light. Also found a strange coin about 6" down. Next week I will be taking it to a coin shop and see if he can identify it. Looks like Egyptian writing on it. Hard to tell. What would an Egyptian coin be doing in Idaho!?
@@deadeye2924 Interesting about the coin. I am up in Sacramento and had a hit while detecting the American River. Dug up a plastic baggie with a pendant and some type of ring (nose?). No video but fun. GLHH
Man. I've found 14 rings in less than two weeks. Outta those two weeks less than four days in week and two to four hours sobyeah impossible you have to keep trying it's a huge beach. Gold price are good
Catfish?!!?!? Really! Hilarious! So much fun! Did you eat the cat food? Is the Vanquish 540 your go to now? I noticed you haven't been using the other ones.
Yes... the Vanquish has a button on it with a little horseshoe to reject iron. However, we do still get some hits that are iron. I like to work the iron at the parks and beach to get those dangerous items out of harms way.
The CKG scoop that Christine uses works fine. She likes it because it’s lighter than my Xtreme scoop. The only issue we have had is the shaft is attached by a wing nut that has come loose but has not been a real issue. They may have improved it since we got this one
Good to know...thanks...Will be watching for low tide....I did notice on one of my hunts that a patterned developed and most of my wet finds were almost in line down the beach. Gonna watch for that to see if it is consistent. hum
It’s nearly impossible to locate owners. I would love to find owner. I have been asked to help find a ring which I did once and found it for the couple.
canot understand why some carry that super heavy scoop around. over so may years there i only used a yellow dog poop scoop and drilled holes in it , makes life easy oh and only cost 2 quid over here in uk
Great day at the beach, Great finds and strange find (end). Enjoy, Subscribe and THANK YOU for watching!
Hehehehehehe christine makes me chuckle the way she uses that scoop lol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m a little unconventional in my methods. LoL
Great Finds Gold and Silver. Love these videos

Laundry money, a car, silver and GOLD!!! Great finds, even with the cat food.

You got gold!! Awesome!!!! 😎😎
Thanks...always a special moment and fairly rare...cheers
Most rings are found in the wet at low tide . Great find christine and I think you need a small scoop 😁
Wow! Great video. Congrats to the both of you.
Thank you
Nice ring! And the gold one was pretty good too! 👍🏽👍🏽
I grew up in that area and really miss it. Thanks for sharing!
I can see why you miss it....so nice. Thank you

Thanks. I like the Minelab detectors. The vanquish is so light weight and easy to use
Super cool!!
Thanks
Very surprised seeing you use the Vanquish. It works very well indeed as I can attest with my Vanquish 540 Pro
NICE PIECE OF......
Nice gold ring 💍 Christine.

I think you will like the Vanquish....One thing to consider is where you detect.... If you do any salt water, consider the Equinox
@@DigginSoCal thanks! way to rocky and trashy around here to dig at the beach! They don't call it the rocky coast of Maine for nothing!

Thanks...yeah it has made it much easier. I want to go to to PB some day....
Wow great hunt if I might suggest add what i call a T handle to your scoop it makes handling while shaking the sand out so much easier great hunting.
Thanks. I will look into the T handle. Sounds like a great idea.

The Cat Food is for feeding the feral cats that inhabit Seal Beach.
I was so close to tasting it...lol. NOT
You need to dig down in the wet sand much higher rate of rings there

She did much better than you last time and is a one scooper.... yeah...? Yeah 😸
Not that this will make you feel better about tent stakes.. but if you collect ... 2,116 stakes.. there worth $4.23 @ the scrap dealer. 😁
Wow....I take it you did...lol. I don't mind cleaning the beach, but not going to save them... I already get attitude for keeping junk...thanks
That young lady will have body parts she didnt know she had tomorrow but she done well
Oh yeah...she was hurting..lol
In Australia we have to hand in valuable jewellery to the Police and if not collected in a month we can keep them.
Anywhere else have similar rules?
I was thinking more in the line of potted meat. That’s about the size can that it comes in over here in the east. That smells a little like cat food
Very interesting.... I have not seen potted meat.
Nice 👍🏻👍🏻 🇮🇳 Kuki 13|06|2022
Before you open the can I’m going to guess that it is potted meat 🥩 from the Vienna potted meat. Of course it may still resemble cat food.
Tent stakes worth about .99 cents
True. Not worth keeping but saved a few just Incase I ever need them
Did you look for owner of ring? I bet he would be grateful unless he threw it on purpose.
