Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark, Florida

This was our second visit to Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark, Florida. You come here for the kids for sure, there is plenty to do! The resort is probably a 3 star property and needs a lot of work and updating. The rooms are dated but spacious. They really need life guards at the pools and at the slides, kids are just running around like crazy and going down the slides together and it is a safety concern for sure. The parking lot is gated and seems monitored at times but I would still lock everything up or bring it all with you. Staff is trying to keep up with the demand here but you can tell they are tired and annoyed most days. The staff at the Hideaway restaurant were fabulous both times we went. The shuttle to the parks is reliable and complimentary which is convenient. The rooms with kitchens do not have anything for you to use so you need to bring everything ( dishes, utensils...). Overall, if you have kids and need a fun place to stay a few nights, this is a great option, especially for budget. I would not stay here if I was not traveling with kids though!
