Grand Theft Auto for people who want a game to play for months and look for fun they can take fun in getting to more fun but it's definitely slow Saints Row is for people who want a fun story and have fun shoved and jammed into the story but has nothing to offer after you beat the story Basically GTA is slow paced but offers months of fun SR is a fast paced game but only offers a one time fun storyline and few activities
I dont care if people say your opening is repetitive, but hearing how you are thankful over and over and call us the best viewers in UA-cam is still awesome. Every.single.times. I enjoy your walkthroughs the most than other LP-ers.

Knew I would get angry if I looked at the comments. I have played since the first saints row and enjoy them all. Three and four were over the top and it isn't a transition easily made for some. Stop bitching about how the franchise turned out and play gta if you want more realism. I prefer playing an insane game with unrealistic physics. Why? Because videogames are supposed to be an escape from reality and saints row does this in a way no other game can.

I loved saints row 3 and 4. People really have forgotten that games are supposed to be fun, its an interactive experience, im not watching a fucking movie. The free roam, customization, gunplay/combat, sillyness. Thats what makes saints row fun. If i wanted to play some serious semi crazy game id play gta but for pure unadulterated fun nothing beats saints row.
I like games that I can invest in, get properly immersed, and play for a couple of hours straight. Like DayZ (if it actually bloody worked...), ir any story-driven game, or RPG.

When Saints Row originally came out I was skeptical because I assumed it would be a carbon copy of San Andreas which on the face of it, it may as well have been. However I did actually enjoy it and so when Saints Row 2 came out I got that as well. Personally I enjoyed Saints Row 2 a lot more than GTA 4, largely due to it's customization and the missions were fun.So I was really looking forward to Saints Row the Third. However the third installment was a huge misstep in my opinion. Changing to Steelport which was horrible compared to Stilwater, the customization was severely lacking compared to Saints Row 2, THEY KILLED OFF JOHNNY, and brought in some useless and very forgettable characters. So when Saints Row 4 came out I wasn't as excited as I had been previously. Also with the release of GTA 5 just around the corner I knew that it couldn't compete. What I liked though is that Saints Row 4 didn't try to compete, it took a different direction, and interesting direction that you wouldn't expect from this type of game. It rectified it's previous mistakes and brought Johnny back and killed off the needless characters. I miss the days of Saints Row 2, but I enjoyed Saints Row 4 and being in space, having a time machine and having artifacts that can transport you to hell gives the series a massive scope for a Saints Row 5 on a current gen console (now meaning xbox1 ps4) that if is done correctly could potentially be the best game ever

If Saints Row 4 was a stand alone game and not a sequel then there would be hardly any haters because you can't deny that it is such a fun game. Even the fact that it is a sequel shouldn't have this many haters though. The characters have been developed really well and to go from being a poor street thug to an intergalactic presidential space gangster takes some imagination. The only aspect I didn't like about 4 is that they went from having Steelport which was bad enough to having an even worse version of it where you never stop being attacked until you go back to the ship. There's nothing appealing to look at in the city and even if there was you don't have time to because you are consistently being shot at.

Are u serious. This is y i stoped playing this after the third. The first Saints row was the best. Then the second was good, minus the voodoo. Then the third was ok but u could tell it started going down hill. Then they make u fight aliens, and now u save urself from hell playing as johnny. I still watch it just too see where the story goes because I loved the first two, and liked the third. I watch Chrissmove play the fourth, now im watch TheRadBrad play this one. I'll watch because i wanna see it. But this game is trash now. I will never waste a dime buying the last two. (4,5)
James Flond 1 was the best, 2 was second, and three was beautiful, but started thinking to far out of the box. 4 and 5 are dumb. They just got tired of people comparing it with GTA so they went a totally different rout, and ruined the whole franchise.
Stop being a fucking hater and go play GTA. Video games are made so that you can escape reality. And what does Saints Row do? It does that exact same thing. GTA is for serious gameplay. Saints Row on the other hand, is for people who want to have fun, running around as the president, and flipping cops off. Don't like the franchise? Leave and play something else.

Davin Sweet it was like gta san andreas a little bit. Which was the best gta still to date. Gta 5 is a beast and the graphics plus online is beautiful, but i still think san andreas had and has the best storyline. Its just fun to be able to recruit, and walk around with ur gang and fight the other gangs. They took that away from us by making these saints row to "cartoony", and "comic booky". The same with gta (not encouraging gang violence), but the gang action in gta san andreas is a huge part of what made it what it was, and not adding that in gta 5 really hurt. And they replaced "Grove street with "Chamberlain Gang", and made the ballas take over "the grove". Im just saying, this is why sequels get a bad rep. They put some good things in here, and there, but at the end of the day, everything that made it what is was in the first place they take it out.

I hear you but the gang storyline was always more than adequate for me. The new story has made the traditional weaponry useless. Ditto for cars. I remember how fun it was to find cars and put them in my garage. SR4 made cars completely worthless/irrelevant. How about upgradable cribs? How about the Fight Club from S2?? Friggin' LOVED that activity. I see your point & respect it but I just preferred the original gang story much more.
Honestly I wasted 20 bucks. I played saints row since the second came out. Saints row 2 is BY FAR the best out of the franchise. This game all the things they left out ( yes I am keeping in mind it is basically dlc) no customization, no cheats which basically defined saints row for me, a lot of this is copied and pasted kinda like SR4. Still no major graphics update since SR3. This is more like a 10 dollar dlc not 20
I like SR2 the most as well. Original story, original missions, amazing gameplay that is just on the barrier between crazy and fucking lunatic. But the PC port for it is crappy though.

Personally i felt that SR2 was the last good one. I get the fact the they had to make something different than GTA after SR2 but unfortunately it doesn't appeal to me. I definitely acknowledge that there's a fanbase for this type of SR!

I must say many people are hating on this game. I for one have never played any of the saints row games. The first time I heard of saints row was the third which by then hit me of how successful the game series was. Now that I've seen this game. I may not buy it or anything just because it looks ridiculous. I'll watch Brad play. Then again... Most criminal/3rd person shooters nowadays are going into the more realistic side or futuristic side of the universe. I realise that once they made Saints Row 4 they were creating their own kind of fun to play with. Yes it may not make sense but I believe that Saints Row will now be known as the crazy 3rd person shooter that has alot of good bullshit. It almost feels like Prototype mixed with the randomness and humour of Duke Nukem and craziness of their own company. That's just my opinion.
@@ivy_rl5209 yes! If you get it for pc on Steam when on sale. In the pc version theres a mod that allows you to customize your character. And increase difficulty mod and neon cars. The game short. I like it and still play it. In my UA-cam channel I have some videos on it.
I honestly thought Saints row gat out of hell would had been harder and an longer game but its not really I passed that whole game in 2 days and it was an easy game I only died once in it and the powers in the game are awesome!
The best parts of saints row games is the driving and in Gat out of hell there's 5 or so vehicles that all blow up incredibly easy and you have a better mode of transport. The true hell.

SR3 and SR4 are alright, they just don't compare to Saints Row II. That was one of the best open world games of all time. SR3 and 4 would have been considered pretty good games had they been a different title but the Saints Row name was just too much to live up to.
Saints Row 1 and 2 were fucking amazing! They far surpassed the GTA series with the sheer customization of EVERYTHING and unique mini games... After the 2nd one they ruined the amazing art work they could've perfected. SR3 is like a Saints Row mod made for middle school kids who just want to blow up everyone and everything... If you haven't realized it but saints row began with someone joining a gang, then in the second game he was leader of said gang with his own franchise, he then became president of the US (also his franchise is now global), then earth was destroyed and so him and HIS GANG are the last humans so they have to find a new planet and repopulate (his franchise went intergalatic now), then the president/gang leader is dragged to hell to marry Satan's so Gat a long time gang member and friend has to save him. I mean has it really changed or has it upped the ante?

I miss the days of Saints Row 2, but I enjoyed Saints Row 4 and being in space, having a time machine and having artifacts that can transport you to hell gives the series a massive scope for a Saints Row 5 on a current gen console (now meaning xbox1 ps4) that if is done correctly could potentially be the best game ever

If Saints Row 4 was a stand alone game and not a sequel then there would be hardly any haters because you can't deny that it is such a fun game. Even the fact that it is a sequel shouldn't have this many haters though. The characters have been developed really well and to go from being a poor street thug to an intergalactic presidential space gangster takes some imagination. The only aspect I didn't like about 4 is that they went from having Steelport which was bad enough to having an even worse version of it where you never stop being attacked until you go back to the ship. There's nothing appealing to look at in the city and even if there was you don't have time to because you are consistently being shot at.

Are u serious. This is y i stoped playing this after the third. The first Saints row was the best. Then the second was good, minus the voodoo. Then the third was ok but u could tell it started going down hill. Then they make u fight aliens, and now u save urself from hell playing as johnny. I still watch it just too see where the story goes because I loved the first two, and liked the third.
I watch Chrissmove play the fourth, now im watch TheRadBrad play this one. I'll watch because i wanna see it. But this game is trash now. I will never waste a dime buying the last two. (4,5)
James Flond 1 was the best, 2 was second, and three was beautiful, but started thinking to far out of the box. 4 and 5 are dumb. They just got tired of people comparing it with GTA so they went a totally different rout, and ruined the whole franchise.
Stop being a fucking hater and go play GTA. Video games are made so that you can escape reality. And what does Saints Row do? It does that exact same thing. GTA is for serious gameplay. Saints Row on the other hand, is for people who want to have fun, running around as the president, and flipping cops off. Don't like the franchise? Leave and play something else.

I love saints row. Obviously im still here watching it, but i miss running the worls with the saints. Now its just superhuman things happening while u do it by urself while the others tell u what to do. It turned into a super hero game.

Davin Sweet it was like gta san andreas a little bit. Which was the best gta still to date. Gta 5 is a beast and the graphics plus online is beautiful, but i still think san andreas had and has the best storyline. Its just fun to be able to recruit, and walk around with ur gang and fight the other gangs. They took that away from us by making these saints row to "cartoony", and "comic booky".
The same with gta (not encouraging gang violence), but the gang action in gta san andreas is a huge part of what made it what it was, and not adding that in gta 5 really hurt. And they replaced "Grove street with "Chamberlain Gang", and made the ballas take over "the grove".
Im just saying, this is why sequels get a bad rep. They put some good things in here, and there, but at the end of the day, everything that made it what is was in the first place they take it out.

I hear you but the gang storyline was always more than adequate for me. The new story has made the traditional weaponry useless. Ditto for cars. I remember how fun it was to find cars and put them in my garage. SR4 made cars completely worthless/irrelevant. How about upgradable cribs? How about the Fight Club from S2?? Friggin' LOVED that activity. I see your point & respect it but I just preferred the original gang story much more.
Now that I think about it I kind of miss that stuff too now lol

Honestly I wasted 20 bucks. I played saints row since the second came out. Saints row 2 is BY FAR the best out of the franchise. This game all the things they left out ( yes I am keeping in mind it is basically dlc) no customization, no cheats which basically defined saints row for me, a lot of this is copied and pasted kinda like SR4. Still no major graphics update since SR3. This is more like a 10 dollar dlc not 20

I like SR2 the most as well. Original story, original missions, amazing gameplay that is just on the barrier between crazy and fucking lunatic. But the PC port for it is crappy though.

I must say many people are hating on this game. I for one have never played any of the saints row games. The first time I heard of saints row was the third which by then hit me of how successful the game series was. Now that I've seen this game. I may not buy it or anything just because it looks ridiculous. I'll watch Brad play. Then again... Most criminal/3rd person shooters nowadays are going into the more realistic side or futuristic side of the universe. I realise that once they made Saints Row 4 they were creating their own kind of fun to play with. Yes it may not make sense but I believe that Saints Row will now be known as the crazy 3rd person shooter that has alot of good bullshit. It almost feels like Prototype mixed with the randomness and humour of Duke Nukem and craziness of their own company.

SR3 and SR4 are alright, they just don't compare to Saints Row II. That was one of the best open world games of all time. SR3 and 4 would have been considered pretty good games had they been a different title but the Saints Row name was just too much to live up to.

After the 2nd one they ruined the amazing art work they could've perfected. SR3 is like a Saints Row mod made for middle school kids who just want to blow up everyone and everything... Standalone DLC? Clever marketing scheme, but really? This looks so much worse, graphically, then Saint's Row 4, and it has just clambered over the 90/100-mark on the ridiculous-ity scale. Lol there's a lot of hate comments but Volition is dancing to their own tune. If you haven't realized it but saints row began with someone joining a gang, then in the second game he was leader of said gang with his own franchise, he then became president of the US (also his franchise is now global), then earth was destroyed and so him and HIS GANG are the last humans so they have to find a new planet and repopulate (his franchise went intergalatic now), then the president/gang leader is dragged to hell to marry Satan's so Gat a long time gang member and friend has to save him. I mean has it really changed or has it upped the ante?
Feels more like sequel to some big movie with action packed adventures and a deeper understanding of who da fuq Jane is and how she's gonna come into play I HOPE.
This games isn't related to the story it's a spin off title.

Cactus God Jane Austen is a nationally acclaimed British author of Pride & Prejudice, and Sense & Sensibility. I think she's in Saints Row because of the impact of her books on modern society. Sort of how Shakespeare had a cameo in this game. It's just to move along the plot.
