it's made from hot rolled railroad track steel which is extremely high quality steel so while the production is not modern the product will be very high quality ...Shovels are usually made from recycled crap , even so called high quality ones

I'm Polish, and I'm full of admiration when I watch your efforts while working. I am horrified by your working conditions, first of all by the lack of safety for you, secondly by the lack of modern equipment for such production in Poland, as it was done in the 1920s, thirdly by the lack of work clothes, fourthly by the lack of masks. I enjoy it. Nice basic step by step guide to how to run a business. Are you all family? The dude with bare feet running the lathe was the best. No government inspectors interfering with men working. No work men’s comp, either my guess
I'd say this is about as advanced as Britain was in around 1750. It's at the intersection of cottage industry and just before mass production. Most of the tools they're using were probably made in England towards the end of the Victorian age, maybe 1890s.
And look where they are now...... We live on the same planet. It's like watching your neighbors house burn down. Yours is next. Soon nobody will be able to survive without a big store to go buy everything they need. That's when we will wish for the good old days.

Exactly how we made shovels in Australia. In 1890.
I don't think so, shovels made back then in Australia were beautifully made, a joy to own.
Yep the 1890s was the last time aussie made anything .
Manufacturing was probably more advanced in Australia in 1890. This is like medieval level manufacturing
And I’m sure the sheet metal was a bit more thicker
And now we don't make any shovels at all in Australia
