Warning, RANT Not tryna be a Grandma, But Shows geared towards younger audiences are best because they are literally forced to create tension and chemistry outside of bedroom stuff. They have to find new ways to show a passionate love without making it sexual. They want mature romance that a kid and adult can watch without feeling like your not the right demograohic. So hence lady chat shirbirt and juke were born.

y'all had to be there when the og came out. it was canceled because of sports, even though they had plans for at least another season. that + the actors recreating a scene where the characters almost kiss and getting half an inch apart but STILL not kissing is 12 year old me's villain origin story.
Anne and Gilbert were, in my opinion, the best done couple in all of the Netflix original shows. Their chemistry was so organic, and the plot was so interesting regardless of them, they just tied it all together. They also made us wait three seasons to see them kiss and it was so good so 😭
LOVE katie and aiden. Not only were they great together but that panic attack scene was one of the most accurate representations I've ever seen. The actress really killed it.
I loved the show Anne with an E and thought that Gilbert and Anne were everything. I wish the show was never cancelled because we needed more of them together to see where there relationship and life would have taken them.

My new favourite Netflix show is definitely Julie and the Phantoms and I absolutely loved the premise and the ships and I am not over it being cancelled after one season. I still can’t believe they cancelled it on a cliffhanger and I don’t know why, I understand it might of been a budgeting issue, but everyone loved the show and there were so many different directions it could go and honestly I can’t watch anything to do with it any more, because it hurts so much, we didn’t even get a movie or any warning it was ending. What can I say, it’s one of the best kids shows I’ve seen recently and I feel like all of my New favourite kid shows are getting cancelled for no reason. Maybe it’s just me, but Julian the Phantoms deserved so much better than what they got!

@@NiinaW I know I’m so upset about it and can’t stop thinking about how amazing the songs were, how amazing the ships were and as someone who used to write novels, I haven’t stopped coming up with plot points of things that could’ve happened, like her dad Finally finding out about them and his reaction to it, their families finding out that they came back as ghosts and helping them with their unfinished business, all the stuff to do with Trevor Wilson that also had to do with their unfinished business, as Wellers adding on top all the stuff to do with Caleb. There was honestly so many different storylines and plot points of things that could’ve happened that never got the opportunity to shine, I’m honestly still so hurt and upset about the show been cancelled because it was one of my favourite shows and I love it so much.

I know this video is about actual ships from the shows, but the JATP fan ships are top tier and no one can tell me otherwise. Like no joke my favorite ship when I finished the show was Reggie/Luke so... Any variation of the Phantoms themselves works so well because of the actors' chemistry (including the non-monogamous ones), and I've been loving Luke/Bobby recently too (he deserved so much better than what happened in the canon)
I was a haylee and leo shipper from day one of Greenhouse Academy, so it was soo great seeing them end up together at the very end when the show almost made it seem like Daylee was gonna be endgame. Honestly Greenhouse was a really cool show, and it did get messed up a bit when they replaced the actresses, even though I understand why it happened, but some of the relationships (romantic and platonic) that revolved around those 2 characters felt off when the actresses were replaced which made the show lose some of its magic for me. But I still enjoyed watching it.
The reason why I started to watch Ashley Garcia was a clip about her and Stick. So I was so mad when I found out it was canceled with a cliffhanger and they weren't together.
I remembered finishing season 2 but then news came out that the show was going to be cancelled after season 3 and I was generally not happy about it so I just stopped watching it. I do plan on watching the rest because it seems interesting
I lived in Canada for five years and I watched all the old Anne of Green Gables show/movies and it was pretty good, I was hesitant to watch Anne With an E but your praise has me wanting to watch it
The first season has its issues however the second and third season are the best. It’s a shame the show didn’t get a 4th season. So much untapped potential for stories and new characters.
You definitely should. I'm someone who always used to dislike series/movie adaptations that made changes to the story but this one has me rethinking that mindset. I've watched it three times now.

in some time in 2018 me and my sister got really obsessed with greenhouse academy for some reason, like i remember in our 13th birthday we went to church, had lunch and then proceeded to spend the rest of the day just watching the show i was really excited for the third season when it was about to come out but we began watching it and it was so weird (the first two seasons were too, but a little less i guess) at the end we couldn't finish it and i totally forgot about it. so yeah thanks for bringing back these memories 😭
Julie and The Phantoms my beloved, seriously everyone here should watch the show it's so freaking great. There's a new JATP book that shows what the boys and Julie's lives were like right before meeting each other (its basically julie and luke right after season 1 sharing the story of moment very important in their lives) and at the end of the book they confess their feelings for each other. I guess now that there wont be a season 2 I'm taking that moment as canon.
My love for Anne with an e cannot be explained in human words like I wrote part of an essay about like it is THE BEST SHOW and like Anne and Gilbert are the standard for love. They are the original academic rivals to lovers, everything I have ever wanted in life stems from them. My ideals of love and friendship. The show itself was one of the greatest shows ever and I was so upset when it was cancelled. The shows told stories of everything and I loved it
YES YES YES I love so many of these shows and they are not talked about enough! Here's my thoughts: 8.) Leo and Hayley were cute but when Daniel became part of the equation I liked Hayley with him a lot more. But like you said, eventually Leo and Hayley caught my eye again and I think even though she has a beautiful relationship with both...Leo and Hayley are meant to be. 3.) Julie and Luke have so much chemistry, arguably some of the most I've seen in Netflix kids show tbh. I am disappointed we never got a kiss from them but I understand the age gap between the actors as well as the fact everyone thought it would get renewed. 2.) Katie and Aiden are just so cute and one of my favorite enemies to lovers stories! I wish they had more time but I believe they meet up someday after college and realize they're meant to be.

Another show is Backstage it another Disney/Family Channel Canada show which centers around a performing arts high school. My favorite was Miles and Alya, Jax and Kit.
Ahhh Backstage :) Im sad it ended after season 2 with that sort of cliffhanger. Honestly if they wrapped up that storyline and didnt leave it as a cliffhanger then I'd be content with the show not getting a third season. My favorite ship was Vanessa and Beckett

I saw someone else suggest this show and after thinking it over I entirely agree, you should watch the show Backstage. There are many ships in it and its overall and fun show. I say the very best ship comes in season 2, not gonna spoil anything, you'll know the ship when you see them. (they are pretty much enemies to lovers).
Although I absolutely HATE Juanma (especially in the first season), I agree his voice is INCREDIBLE and yes Ya No Más is 100% the best song in the show

as a brazilian i was already psyched for jatp from the moment I found out it was getting a kenny ortega netflix adaptation bc I love his work and I used to watch the original show as a kid. and it was even better than I expected bc though it kinda follows the structure of the original, there's so much that is new and unique to it and all of the characters are just so fleshed out and well developed and the ships are just chef's kiss
I was obsessed back in 2019 summer i think with Greenhouse academy i had totally forgotten about it after watching the show like 2 times and i was shocked when you brought it up! Loved daniel but ADORED Leo!!! He wasn’t perfect at all there were times i preferred daniel but i think thats what makes him so interesting. Also brooke season 1&2 was great but after that just garbage

I also have an inhuman love for the greenhouse academy and the last couple seasons were a rild wide but I loved them all the same. I hated Leo up until the cave scene like the dance scene where his ex (could have been long distance girlfriend I can't remember) showed up I flipped but by the end I loved the two of them. Also does any one remember when one of the other characters FELL OF A CLIFF like after the first season the show took a turn

(Adora and Catra are great too, but I do like Bow and Glimmer more. They're very underrated and Bow is the best character, no doubt.)

You should watch the Bibi & Tina on Netflix, it's a German film series about two girls Bibi, a teenage with and Tina, a girl whose mom owns a ranch (?) Idk I haven't watched in a long time, but anyways they go on different adventures and deal with a bunch of shenanigans and stuff like that.
I agree! Like Ofc I respect her opinion and everything, but I HATE Juanma. And Álvaro definitely got annoying in the second season since his whole life was about her, but I LOVED his character in the first season
I also don't like Mia and Juanma together. First of all, Juanma is a terrible boyfriend. Besides the fact that he cheated on Lupe and went out of his way to be with Mia, he always made Lupe suffer. I don't like Lupe. She's a brat. And a bad girlfriend herself, but not too Juanma's level. I always hated when she suffered for him because yes Juanma, your girlfriend is right to be angry when she sees you dancing and hugging another girl. And Juanma changed. He became better. But he didn't prove himself enough to me. And Alvaro and Mia, it's complicated. I was really happy while they happened but for the sake of their relationship with Ramiro, I do believe it's better that they separated. I do wish thay had lasted longer. And their relationship doesn't give me ick. They barely know each other. They didn't know they were related. They were a totally fair game to each other.
Yes! i loved Alvaro, and I think they had a better relationship. Also they weren't related in anyway, and Mercedes and Ramiro divorced. And to be honest (no shade on Ramiro, except for the fact that I am throwing shade on Ramiro and really dislike him) I feel like now that he's discovered Mia is his biological daughter and Lupe isn't (and after his divorce) he's not going to be much of a father figure to the others anymore. I hate to say that I feel like he would start distancing himself from them.

But, here are my opinions on the ones I have Willie and Alex: my hearttttt omg I love them so much, they were so cute together, and I'm so mad they cancelled it before we got more Julie and Luke: OMG I CAN'T THEY WERE SO PERFECT. You should watch "heirs of the night", its a show about vampires on disney + and its really good (its been produced by several European production companies so I'm not sure if it's available in the US) Oh, and also "the mysterious benedict society" that's a really good one too

Honestly Greenhouse was a really cool show, and it did get messed up a bit when they replaced the actresses, even though I understand why it happened, but some of the relationships (romantic and platonic) that revolved around those 2 characters felt off when the actresses were replaced which made the show lose some of its magic for me. But I still enjoyed watching it.
Katie and Aidan are the BEST! And I liked Alexa and Spencer too, they had some cute moments

I lived in Canada for five years and I watched all the old Anne of Green Gables show/movies and it was pretty good, I was hesitant to watch Anne With an E but your praise has me wanting to watch it
The first season has its issues however the second and third season are the best. It’s a shame the show didn’t get a 4th season. So much untapped potential for stories and new characters.
You definitely should. I'm someone who always used to dislike series/movie adaptations that made changes to the story but this one has me rethinking that mindset. I've watched it three times now.

in some time in 2018 me and my sister got really obsessed with greenhouse academy for some reason, like i remember in our 13th birthday we went to church, had lunch and then proceeded to spend the rest of the day just watching the show
i was really excited for the third season when it was about to come out but we began watching it and it was so weird (the first two seasons were too, but a little less i guess)
at the end we couldn't finish it and i totally forgot about it. so yeah thanks for bringing back these memories 😭
Julie and The Phantoms my beloved, seriously everyone here should watch the show it's so freaking great. There's a new JATP book that shows what the boys and Julie's lives were like right before meeting each other (its basically julie and luke right after season 1 sharing the story of moment very important in their lives) and at the end of the book they confess their feelings for each other. I guess now that there wont be a season 2 I'm taking that moment as canon.
My love for Anne with an e cannot be explained in human words like I wrote part of an essay about like it is THE BEST SHOW and like Anne and Gilbert are the standard for love. They are the original academic rivals to lovers, everything I have ever wanted in life stems from them. My ideals of love and friendship. The show itself was one of the greatest shows ever and I was so upset when it was cancelled. The shows told stories of everything and I loved it

YES YES YES I love so many of these shows and they are not talked about enough! Here's my thoughts:
8.) Leo and Hayley were cute but when Daniel became part of the equation I liked Hayley with him a lot more. But like you said, eventually Leo and Hayley caught my eye again and I think even though she has a beautiful relationship with both...Leo and Hayley are meant to be.
3.) Julie and Luke have so much chemistry, arguably some of the most I've seen in Netflix kids show tbh. I am disappointed we never got a kiss from them but I understand the age gap between the actors as well as the fact everyone thought it would get renewed.
2.) Katie and Aiden are just so cute and one of my favorite enemies to lovers stories! I wish they had more time but I believe they meet up someday after college and realize they're meant to be.

Ahhh Backstage :) Im sad it ended after season 2 with that sort of cliffhanger. Honestly if they wrapped up that storyline and didnt leave it as a cliffhanger then I'd be content with the show not getting a third season.

I saw someone else suggest this show and after thinking it over I entirely agree, you should watch the show Backstage. There are many ships in it and its overall and fun show. I say the very best ship comes in season 2, not gonna spoil anything, you'll know the ship when you see them. (they are pretty much enemies to lovers).

as a brazilian i was already psyched for jatp from the moment I found out it was getting a kenny ortega netflix adaptation bc I love his work and I used to watch the original show as a kid. and it was even better than I expected bc though it kinda follows the structure of the original, there's so much that is new and unique to it and all of the characters are just so fleshed out and well developed and the ships are just chef's kiss
I was obsessed back in 2019 summer i think with Greenhouse academy i had totally forgotten about it after watching the show like 2 times and i was shocked when you brought it up! Loved daniel but ADORED Leo!!! He wasn’t perfect at all there were times i preferred daniel but i think thats what makes him so interesting. Also brooke season 1&2 was great but after that just garbage
You should try kdramas, they tend to have more sweet and slow-paced plotlines that I think you would enjoy.

I also don't like Mia and Juanma together. First of all, Juanma is a terrible boyfriend. Besides the fact that he cheated on Lupe and went out of his way to be with Mia, he always made Lupe suffer. I don't like Lupe. She's a brat. And a bad girlfriend herself, but not too Juanma's level. I always hated when she suffered for him because yes Juanma, your girlfriend is right to be angry when she sees you dancing and hugging another girl. And Juanma changed. He became better. But he didn't prove himself enough to me. And Alvaro and Mia, it's complicated. I was really happy while they happened but for the sake of their relationship with Ramiro, I do believe it's better that they separated. I do wish thay had lasted longer. And their relationship doesn't give me ick. They barely know each other. They didn't know they were related. They were a totally fair game to each other.

Yes! i loved Alvaro, and I think they had a better relationship. Also they weren't related in anyway, and Mercedes and Ramiro divorced. And to be honest (no shade on Ramiro, except for the fact that I am throwing shade on Ramiro and really dislike him) I feel like now that he's discovered Mia is his biological daughter and Lupe isn't (and after his divorce) he's not going to be much of a father figure to the others anymore. I hate to say that I feel like he would start distancing himself from them.
