I stopped complaining and 'watching' his actions. When I left with the kids there was NOTHING to say. He tried to talk me into staying but all of the writing was on the wall. I watched and waited for quite some time. Knew this guy's history a bit and hes a self proclaimed narcissist.. overshared big-time. Thought he had me for a bit. Even after I told him it didn't look to be working out I noticed flat out lies. One lie was so small.. but the I assume the intent was to make me feel sorry for him. He couldn't stop talking about his ex. He flirted with waitresses, it was embarrassing to be on a date with him. He wasn't the biggest catch so it was especially embarrassing, all the women he tried to flirt with were young and out of his league and not interested. I feel sorry for him in a way but he's so deluded. He manipulates, mentions fenale friends he supposedly made plans with in place of me because I'd not mentioned it over text much within the week before plans were made. Rages on the road (Another unattractive trait) Hes the most entitled person I've ever met. Placed me in several situations without asking which me uncomfortable after telling him I am a generally an anxious person and uncomfortable in large crowds. Last straw was mentioning that we don't talk as much anymore. His excuse was he didn't have much to talk about regarding his own self. I was over it long before after he blatantly tried to make me feel jealous for the last time and had been watching your videos on narcissists and avoiding manipulation. Had i not learned how to observe how a man makes me feel from your videos Alex, I could've fallen for the love bombing and ended up in a terrible roller coaster of a relationship. Instead I was able to stay alert and keep quiet. As well as work on myself as you've quoted once you can't look at both the screen and your own reflection at the same time. You're the best and I can't wait to join your patreon and fund your work and buy your course. (Freeloader atm 😭) Still very grateful for you sticking your neck out there in order to help others.
