Rook and Cobra Commander are great comic books to buy and read! It takes time to get to know the characters if you keep reading it, constantly! Otherwise, you will be bored and lose all interest in comic books, from my experience! Guy! By the way, I like your collection of comic books! I appreciate you sharing them here, dude! Transformers is really solid, finished the trade paperback and was pretty impressed.
I liked it okay too but was just too lost when it came to differentiating the bots from each other

Otto! You should get into the current DWJ Transformers series, its amazing, I didnt know anything about transformers before this but im hooked now
I read the first story arc but hopped off because I felt like there was background knowledge I was missing. Has it been holding up?

Void Rivals is connecting more firlmly to the Transformer side of the Energon universe. I can see how the Transformers/Gi Joe side on Earth could feel like too many characters.
I have a good feeling about Rook: Exodus - it’s gathering its cast. Ironically, Ursaw started as a Geiger character and is now a Rook character.
Redcoat is also a young enough series that one could still jump on.
I’m waiting most of all for Ghost Machine’s Hornsby and Halo.
If you want Lore, but not an overwhelming amount, there’s Thundercats.
Mirka Andolfo’s BlasFamous is not for minors, but it is a theologically provoking series. I recommend it for 18 and up.

Hey OTTO I really think us collectors are just buying the RED BAND and not opening it and buying regular issue to read. Marvel knows this.
It's a bit like the 90s fad for polybags, most of which are still not worth anything unopened, and apparently the acid in the polybags eats into the comic over time.
Definitely seems like more of a collectible considering they barely provide any extra content
