By the looks of it, it'd be a mid to late 90s unit ranging from 6,000-8,000 BTUs, I own a Sharp branded unit that's very similar, though it's made in Japan if I remember right, but there's Haier and Quasar branded variants, smallest is 6,000 BTUs, largest is 8,000 BTUs, most common is either 6,500 or 7,500 BTUs, and the compressors on these units do have a tendency to sound metallic even when running right, I have an example of a properly functioning unit on my channel
