- After our adventure in Spa ( • Angry Porsche RWB 930 ... ), it was time to take the 930 RWB around the Nürburgring!

Specs:
It started as original 1986 930 turbo 3.3L
Engine upgraded to 3.4L strong enough for racing use
EFI ECU and custom made modified Garett turbo, Airjacks
Central fire extinguisher system by APmotorsports
AC delete
Additional front and side oil coolers
Racing fuel system by Nuke Performance,
FIA full cage and other preparations for RWB mode done by NeniFab Finland.
RWB built in Finland 2019 by Nakai-San
KW suspension and drivetrain by Schirmer
BBS 18" wheels
Nankang semi-slicks front 295 30 18 and 335 30 18 rear
CAE shifter
At the moment the car is at Uwe Niermann (Le Mans winner with 935) workshop for modifying the gearbox, full electric rewiring and brakes upgrade.

I mean, no one can say that a RWB Porsche looks better in a showroom than on a track, I mean, look at it ! That slow-motion shot at the beginning looks a million times better than any road rolling shot or static showroom footage. As I said on the previous video about this car, Nakai-san made them to be raced, not stanced. Thank you for sharing this with us, and big thanks to the owner for letting you do it !
You say that, but the transformation videos he is in, not the cars he wirks on at his garage, only get the bodykits and styling, he does no tuning to them.

@@atragerlspezi9500 Ok great, but what does that have to do with what i said ? Zero tuning is being done by him on the majority of RWD Porches, atleast not by him.
@@MrShadowofthewind a widebody is tuning. what you really need to be fast is grip, with an rwb kit a 911 will fit 50% more tire surface easily. it must feel infinitely faster than a stock 911 around the corners. hes got race pedigree.
Great to see an "old" 911 being driven with confidence on the Ring. By the way I hope we will soon see the white 993 again on track with its winter mods..

I think this is the most legit drive of an RWB Porsche out there. Truly a hard driven lap. And it's refreshing to iknow the modifications are not just only for looks. Nakai-san has created a functional package clearly from this result.

I follow this car on Instagram since a long time, the black paint with the red stripes and the overall aesthetic of the car itself caught my eye and obsesses me since. It's not just a RWB Porsche with a widebody kit and a great paint. Yes, even if RWB Porsches may look a like, they're all unique in their way, but this one is at another level and i felt it once i've seen it for the first time. It's almost otherworldly. I can finally see it on a track and have a look at the specs, and damn it's beautiful. This car is a dream.
An RWB build that can walk the walk. And that guy can drive!

I feel how light the steering is just watching this... remindsl me of my 993.
I put a G50/50 5-speed trans in my modified 1982 Porsche 930. Keeps engine boost high and makes it more drivable. Great improvement!
As secondary option we're looking as well for g50/52 5 speed gearbox originally made for last 930 turbo production year 1989
As we running over 700nm the g50/50 likely wouldn't be enough
You can get the billet side cover which will add the strength you need. Several companies make them..

Dude got me so envious. all these dream cars you get the pleasure to drive and get ride alongs in. Gotta find a way to have a winter job in Canada work only winters and have a summer house at the ring. These old people going to Florida for the winters got it all wrong.
Classics 911 are sexy... and if its a RWB its amazing! i just imagine how its seems handle with this wide setup aero kit and upgrades!

Be better. My 930 has a custom made elephant racing coilover set up. Also a bunch of steering bracket work. You’ll knock out a ton of time in these areas. It’s not about all that horsepower when you’re not planted as best as possible :) sick ride tho! Congrats on it.
Comparing to my first effort in 2014: At the slowest point 6Km mark, he does 79kph I did 62kph in a gti golf on a wet track. I don't feel so bad 😁.
Still, plenty of pace from this fabulous car 👌
