I own the Pasqually eyes from this location, looking back on these videos and photos, its crazy to think that those eyes in Pasqually would end up in Australia!
This location was, and still is, my favorite of all time. It's the location that really sparked my love for animatronics. I never got to see the Rockafire version, as concept unification happened before I was born. It was my favorite version of Munch, honestly, because on the Fatz animatronic it made Munch chunky as I love. I have a video of me seeing Munch Jr. WORKING for the first time (that I had seen) in around 2018/2019. Awesome to come across this video.
Super cool to know the full story of the building. I saw when they were gutting it and was super disappointed I never got to go inside. I've actually been inside the cleaneatz that took it's place and had no idea it was the old Chuck E Cheese! At least it was taken up by something of value unlike the location only an hour over in Jacksonville. NC that was turned into a mattress store.
Yes! Finally a history video on this location! Honestly, while this stage was in great cosmetic condition it wasn't in great mechanical condition. Great video, Rob!!
So sad this location closed because of their stupid landlord. Unfortunately never got to see it in person but at least the bots were saved thank goodness ❤
My dad is one of the construction workers that helped take down and remake this place to clean eats it cool seeing the Chuck E. Cheese I went since I was a baby on UA-cam sad it had to be shut down tho :[
pizzacam would be sent to Huntsville you can tell its the same one due to the little black fabric you could see on the stick that raises him up. he would then receive the retro cam mask. he was allegedly meant to be sent to Pineville after the location closed or got 2.0 however as far as i know he was destroyed during the 2.0 renovation. which also means the end of the character in locations.

Corporate could’ve reopened this location as 2.0 after they emerged from bankruptcy, because between 2021 and 2022, they reopened a couple stores that closed due to the pandemic. They could’ve reopened Wilmington during the time it was still vacant, but they now they can never reopen the original store, unless they were to open a new one down the road. #savepineville3stage
EYYYY TINLEY PARK, IL 😌✌🏽❤️ My 2nd home location (1st one being M.A.T.T.E.S.O.N. IL 👀) I MISS THAT LOCATION DEARLY 🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I was GRATEFUL for the opportunity to get to see A.R.O.N.Z.O. Perform as Chuck from time to time (as well as having the opportunity ONE DAY to tell him how much of an inspiration he is to me) 🥹🥹🥹 And WHO WOULDA KNEW YEARS LATER I would go on to perform as Chuck (MYSELF) 😊 carrying on that legacy, and being graced with working at the Joliet, IL store location for a few months (Until now, currently residing in Alabama)!! But I just found that VERY IRONIC when you said you’d be covering Tinley Park next…. I’m REALLY looking forward to seeing that video, and this was a very nice video too btw 😀 And I hope you’re Duke/P.A.S.Q.U.A.L.L.Y. is coming along well too!!! Can’t wait to see the end result/finished product when he’s all finished!!

I went there in September of 2023 and saw the 2 stage and just fell in love with it and wished it stayed instead of Northridge. But CA is where I’m moving after I graduate school and working there, maintaining the animatronics!!!!!!!
The very last full authentic 3 stage. Wish it lasted longer than it did, but at least it died a hero than lived long enough to become a 2.0 remodeled location
When department 18 had the 3 stage, I thought that the bots would be from Wilmington except the building and the moon (which are actually not because they were from the old Wesleyan Houston location), where are the department 18 bots from?
Department 18’s bots were directly from CEI all the way back in the 80’s, and have been used for the purpose of programming to this day. The Building and Moon are the only exception to this, as they are from Wesleyan.

Wow! You picked one of the last Munch Juniors in the 90s! Sad this stage left us. I think their stage was one of the best during christmas 2013.
