The Lynwood, WA CEC was a very interesting location. Animatronics aside, the building looked like something that would normally be used for a municipal office or parks and recreation department, or the like. I also noticed this one had a Sheetrock ceiling, instead of a drop ceiling.
The 1986-built store was the only ShowBiz Pizza store throughout the entire state of WA that survived into the 1990s, and thus the only such store to be rebranded to Chuck E. Cheese's by 1992.
Houston's already been requested, though I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to do it. It'll have to be separated into a few parts for sure, but the main issue is that there's so many locations to cover that it would take a few weeks' worth of videos to get through which is something I'm not sure people want to go through.
@@ItzaRob Personally would LOVE a very long video on huge cities like Houston and the such with lots of both Showbiz and CEC locations. Would definitely be a project piece, but something I would love to watch.
@@ZzN2CzZ But then how do I schedule it? It would probably mean pausing history videos as taking on more than one of those at a time would be difficult, so I’d probably have to have at least two week’s worth of the main weekly videos that aren’t history videos done over those 2-3 weeks it would take. I’ll see what I can do, maybe do a poll on if people would rather have a longer video or 2-3 videos on Houston.
Hey I was wondering if you could cover the Union nj location on November 29 since that is my birthday and it’s on Friday. If not then could you cover the staten island location along with the fun station USA place where it had the rock a fire explosion.
The lynnwood location is still up. Theres 2 floors which explains why the location is large. The 2nd floor is home to other businesses like "slater insurance" which is the only one i can remember. Note: nothing happens to lynnwood until it gets demolished
I have actually been thinking I could do my own video on these locations; after all, I have gotten a new following ever since I did my videos on Huntington Beach and Tallahassee (and technically Decatur, IL), and someone actually did request I do one. Would it be alright if I took some inspiration from this video for that one?
can do do a history video on the chuck e cheese's in portage michigan? that was my childhood store! i can give you some info on it pre- remodel! this is from me who went there as a kid. it had the skytubes ofc, do all skytubes had a area to store your shoes in? because this one did. i don't remember all the games or rides it had but i can list off some i do know they had. the dog mouth game where you push down the bone handle to get the balls in its mouth. basketball, football, skeeball. coffee cup ride. the calling game where you can talk to chuck and his friends. and the adventure chuck picture car ride. it had a childrens play area. the showroom itself had a studio C alpha bot. next to the bot was an intractable control station where you could control the stage lights ect, i remember messing around with it. and it had working cameras around the place. that's pretty much all the info i can give you!
I'm not taking anymore history video requests right now. Look out for a update video when I start taking history video requests again and just request it to me again there. I'll be glad to fact check any info you've given here and make the video then.
I can assure you that’s not confirmed. We have no clue for sure what they plan on doing with them. Not to mention the survey they sent out a couple of weeks ago shows they’re considering doing more than just Northridge now.
if im remembering correctly the only other 3 stage with cybers was in massachusetts and was the only showbiz in new england [i could be wrong ive been out of this fandom for like 2 years now]
Can you please one day do the history of showbiz pizza place and chuck e cheese in albany Ga you can use any of my videos or info and you can say i own the bot to iff you want
One day? Yes, but I’m not taking history video requests currently. Look out for an announcement that I’ve started taking them again in the future and request it again at that point.
Dude what the hell is "spoKANE" it's pronounced "SPOH CAN". This is hard to watch, I live in western Washington and I don't know why someone who doesn't have any connection to the area is making videos on the history of these locations. Pizza Time theater was once at the alderwood Mall in the See's Candy location that you pictured. It wasn't in the main mall itself but in a standalone location across the parking lot. The Lynnwood CEC that just closed was originally a showbiz Pizza with the three stage. If you're going to make videos like this I'd highly suggest getting on Facebook and asking for more information first.. tons of people who worked at these locations are on and may have more information and or pictures. If I was going to make one of these videos about the store in your neighborhood I'd probably have some information to share first.
Because someone requested these locations, and they seemed to enjoy the video so I'm pretty happy with that. The issue with asking people on Facebook is that it could take a long time to get a response back and I have to make these videos within the span of a week, and I typically get all the info I feel I need to properly cover these locations so I feel my videos get the job done well for the time crunch they have to be put under. People in your area have chose not to make a history video on these areas so I did because someone requested them.
The Lynnwood, Washington location man that location kept the jaspers pizza time theater mask
Rip 1980 to 2023
Another reason is that chuck e cheese had an air leak and that’s why they were replaced

Helen henny was only reintroduced in August (or June) 1983, so they definitely had madame oink before that

In this footage 10:23 it seems Helen is using her 3 stage hands instead of the cyberamic ones because of the size difference

I haven't, and just briefly looking over it, this could be an interesting location to cover for sure.
I've been waiting for this thank for this man👍
Why are Helen’s hands so tiny? 😂 10:33 Are those her three stage hands?
Yep

whereis the SPT warehouse now? I know they had one in Topeka. KS that closed.
