Truth. In Paypal we Don't Trust
Well with all the Australian banks blocking a lot of exchanges, PayPal is looking mighty attractive as an on/off ramp. 🤔
You may be right there but still with PayPal you stand a high risk of frozen funds with no reason at all.
A geo-fenced stablecoin on a high gas fee blockchain . I'm not smart enough to understand why I should use it
Wonder if Pay Pal made arrangements with US Govt to take on treasury debt that the rest of the world is shying away from in trade for special treatment in regulations on this stable coin. Could be a door to a U.S. CBDC.
The US SEC filed a lawsuit against one of the biggest ecosystems in crypto and you guys aren't covering it. What gives?

People still use eth more than any other network. Also it will be on layer 2s in short time

@@DegenPhilly Yes Eth has the first movers advantage at the moment so yes it has more transactions but when more people get in to crypto and find out there are other chains that are cheaper and can do the same thing with bridges, they will switch over.

his is all good information. Thank you for your work in this space. It should also be noted that Paxos is the issuer of the pyusd. It is also my understanding that usdt and usdc both have similar blacklist / freezing mechanisms. It seems to me that this may be a regulatory compliance matter.

I have USD in PayPal but recently I can't even buy anything in eBay. They claim new policy that my country has to be the same as the seller. That is really trash. We need crypto compatible stores.

There will be regulated coins and unregulated ones, this is just the way things are and will be. Governments will want regulation and control over their national currency. It would be smart to keep most of your money in ETH and just a little in regulated stable coins that hopefully will be able to be used as money.

The safest thing to invest in and save for the future and protect ourselves from uncertainty is buying physical gold. Thank you for pointing out all the dangers of crypto and bitcoin. Silver is also a great alternitive if you can't afford to buy gold by the ounce. Stay away from crypto. That's for sure.
