"Football creates a safe place outside home". Nothing more true than that. I've spent my childhood and youth playing football in the streets, and we were so strong that even regular teams could not reach our level when they faced us. We used to Play even 6 hours long matches, in summer even with almost 40 degrees. We didn't have the chance to play professionally just because we were born and raised in poor environments and there were no official sport structure which belonged to some big team in the area in which we lived . It was some kind of ghetto too. But we played for ourselves, to cast away our problems and fears , to improve ourselves and to be together. It didn't matter if there was snow or hot sunshine, what was important was to play, train, study, listen to good music. All the time I've spent playing football, listening to Bob Marley & Peter Tosh and playing reggae music was the best way I could spend my time. Music&sports are the two keys for a happy life, or at least for a life which is worth living. I wish I could go back to those times! Anyway Uncle Bob is a true example to follow. He was right about all, and he had the key for happiness and justice, and he just shared it with people, that's why they killed him.
It would have been lovely to see Bob and his sons playing a game of football and also performing together, the world has missed out on something beautiful.
The vibration now is Revolution, Exodus, One Love, So Much Trouble In The World, Survival, Black Man Redemption, these songs of freedom were, are and will forever be... Thank God for the vibration of Bob Marley

Bob chose his way being a rasta and there`s nothing but repect for his decision. Tuff gong he was... His legacy is huge.
