Jay you should tell them to screenshot the scoreboard at the end so that way you know the stats for the reviews on cheaters
You can easilly screenshot stats after game: Carreer profile > History > Game reports > Team (active for last 10 games)

The only person I've ever seen get banned because of one of my reports was a guy that was literally spamming racist slurs in chat.
So, I guess they only care about banning racists. Cheaters are fine.

Only took dafran 50 hours to get top 500 with mercy. So 3 days of no life hacking or less and you could be gm easily.

mercy is one of my main healers and i almost never use the pistol unless i have to typically cause a dps got in the backline if you see my beam vanish odds are someone is diving and i'm fighting for my life
Exactly how I play except when I get dived I use guardian angel and get to my team asap. I rarely use damage boost too

@@Celine76488 heal bot is actually more useful. Too much damage boost and your teammate dies then you get jumped rezing. Healing supports your whole team overall especially if you aren't being moronic and sticking on just one person the whole game. Healing as Mercy is especially important for Mercy herself as its her passive ability. The more healing she gives her teammates the more she receives. Rather survive then try to get in a little extra damage wouldn't you?
@@Antonio-ys5zd Thats why you swap between them very often, pair the dmg boost with a shield tank and u wont NEED to heal ur dps bcz no one will die anyway. Mercy is better played as an off support, paired with the likes of ana, bap or moira who can do more healing in general, they focus heals while mercy can focus MORE on d-boosting. (note that she still heals when necessary) I win 90% of my plat games doing this, the only time it dont work is if i get a dps moira, lucio, zen, brig etc, In that case, i ask for them to go a main healer, if they dont I'LL swap to a main healer.
@@thetruesovietdoggo343 I do still damage boost but only when I see an opening. Rather keep my team all at full health. Even all those other supports you listed can't keep everyone up. And much safer than constantly rezing. But many Mercy's have their own playstyles. When I'm playing tank or dps I typically see the enemy Mercy hard pocket healing tanks and that's in gold lobbies

The only thing I got from Jay rant at the end is the healer role should be remove. We only need tank and dps, give them 1 med pack each and let them fight.

Fun fact put game codes in your reports for more effective reports can’t promise it will get them banned but it definitely helps after I started doing this I got more notifications about my reports being effective

If you don't want rez or immort or suzu then you must also not want trance and beat. It's the same logic. Beat prevents 5man dva bomb or junk tire, Trance prevents 5man Shimada bros. Mercy's rez ult was the same as zen and lucio, just after death vs before. It was just as valid, but then they put an ULT on a skill.
a lot of ow streamers just like complaining. if you put them up against actual logic i think they would explode, or just ban you from their chat

A fun experience i had that this reminded me of, I played overwatch for about 2 months before overwatch 2 came out. I had a hard time adjusting to 5v5. Also, I almost always 🍃 before I played, so even though I was in gold 2 in overwatch 1(only my placement matches), I was thrown into bronze for the first season.
I was a little upset at first because I didn't get a lot of time to play, but I decided to do things I knew I couldn't do unless I was in bronze. I had a blast. One thing was going super aggressive with mercy. Also, seeing how far away I can kill people with cassidys fan hammer only.

I actually had a Mercy ragehacker in a quickplay game less than a week ago.. I was like wtf this Mercy is getting picks defended me she's cracked (I was playing Ana) I checked stats and she had 1.7k damage on the 2nd point of a koth map so I nanoed her and she used valk.
Then potg was the nano valk and I found out she was rage hacking I didn't know if to laugh or cry lol
I reported her after the game but we know it won't do anything

Sometimes if you dont get killed by the hacker, you dont realize they are cheating; remember that hackers have "perfect aim" but behave like bronzes, so they just die lol

1/3 people you encounter in online video games have some form of cheats, even higher in some games
they're only blatant when used by people who don't know how to use them; a skilled player using a high end aimbot/wallhack can make it look seamless
As poorly as bliz is doing there won't be a game, so the mercy paradox solves itself.

Asking for a new feature from Blizzard (tab in replay) when they can't be assed to fix simple shit like Hanzo's Storm arrow on controller. Been like 2 years since toggle was added and the cancel has been bound to Sonic arrow the entire time for us. 30 second ability 1/ability 2 swap but it's never gonna get patched.

So if this teaches you anything, if you're versing a blatant cheater and they're on a character that shoots projectiles, just strafe in random-ass directions and never for too long, and they'll never be able to hit you AND you'll make them looks even more blatant in the replays.

Make suzu a 15%-25% damage reduction instead of immortality? Maybe boost its heal by 10-15 to compensate? Numbers can be tweeked here but just removing the ability isn't the answer.
