This Island Blue is gorgeous. I really love the Mini Cooper. But despite all these advantages in the 2020,2021 and 2022 Mini Cooper Cars, I still cant help loving my 9 year old 2012 Mini Cooper S R56 more…because it is a real modern classic.
Bought one five weeks ago to add to my collection of MG TFs. Goes like absolute stink (that’s English for really fast) and in Arctic Black it looks really cool.
That’s one awesome 😎 looking car 🚙 my darling. I do agree about the colour though, it should be available on any model. Awesome, keep up the great work 💋
Just found your channel and really enjoy your content. I’m starting to look seriously at the different models of Mini and really want a used Countryman S all 4. However, I haven’t found any that are with a manual transmission. Are they that hard to find?
The MINIac Thanks for the quick response! I’ve loved these cars for years and will definitely be buying one soon. I guess I should set my sights on an automatic then.
3 years ago bought itself f-56, but understood the, that 53-a favorite mini-Cooper and realistically he very steep in terms of technical developments and in terms of design, so as f - 56 he lose in design.for example take the taillights on the p 53 they are cut right into the wings so only on rolls royce and Bentley in the same model mini Cooper we see what the headlights on as on all the latest models of the car that is it is composite and such small details very many, so I for 53.
Pls correct me if I'm wrong but don't all minis JCW come with the same engine/drive train idk whats the issue for limiting you customers choices like that. I really hope I'm making and uneducated guess right now.
@@TheMINIac I have know idea why they won't offer the convertible with the same transmission. Sucks for people that want to shit and have the wind in there hair.
Talks about rollover safety. Mentions the weight capacity of the windshield, that would still leave rear passengers with a stump for a neck. Should have mentioned the FOUR ROLLOVER SAFETY PISTONS. Those chrome and black stumps where the seatbelts come out, explode upwards like an airbag if the car detects a rollover. Jeez, man.
With no manual transmission, it sort of defeats the fun to drive purpose of buying a Mini. BMW should also offer a heated steering wheel on a car this expensive. I drove a Mini Hardtop S with a rev matching manual and it was a blast, but with BMW's current options there isn't a Mini in my future.
Not just that, but the buttons annoy me as they are reversed. The logo button on most fobs UNLOCKS the car, like the brand is welcoming you in. On MINI this is backwards - the logo button LOCKS the car, unlocking is the small button above. A weird design choice for such a welcoming car.

I have a 06 R53 S, and she runs and looks awesome.

HI is the 8 speed transmission in the JCW convertible the same as the 8 Speed in the GP which handles more HP and Torque
I like how it has a tailgate

How can you sell a car like this without a manual?

That’s not 2020, it’s 2018
I love Mini but the key is ugly af.
