Please leave the doors white as painted the same as wall colour will draw the room in and make it dark, dingy and claustrophobic. Doors and frames should always be white as they define the entry way.

My sister painted all her doors with a darker shade of existing wall colors and it looks fabulous. She wasn’t sure about it but her interior designer insisted it was the new way and couldn’t be more happier with the way it turned out 😊
Maybe it’s a new trend or something to paint the doors the color of the room - but I say, keep them white!

Honestly I'm baffled... and sad. He did tell me he didn't want to do Handyman work anymore the last time he did something for me but this was already scheduled

I’ve not seen doors painted the same color as the wall. All my doors are white like yours. Interesting idea. I like your white doors though if you decide to leave them that way. Good luck with the last of the seemingly never ending move 😊. This too shall pass.

Hi great house! Lots of work but this too shall pass. On another note, think seriously about painting doors a colour cos they scratch and mark easily, unless you seal them well. I would keep em white.❤

I know the jobs weren't completed but it reflects on you when you put him down. Maybe instead say he must have struggled with the heat or been overwhelmed with the enormity of the tasks. Everyone struggles, some lose the plot. I know you are a compassionate person. Just think you are tired. Going through my own new start. Moving as well in 105 degree temps after not moving for 26 years it is terrifying and exciting. You inspire me so much not to quit on things. You are an amazing new woman.

You are doing great Danni! I hope you will be able to take a day or two off once you are moved in. Doors are usually not painted a color. They look very clean & fresh as they are. Nice contrast. I know you aren't thinking about selling yet but colored doors would most likely be an issue for a buyer.

Hi Danni! Thank you for showing us around. Don't worry how everything looks in the new house. As soon as you start emptying the boxes you are going to feel more relaxed. The tortoises area is looking beautiful!!! They are going to love it. If you have paint left, the kids can do it. It's easy. I'm 68 years old and I always do little things life that. I don't get tired of saying this, I'm so happy for you and the kids. There's nothing like having your own place. Nobody can tell you what to do or not to do because you own it. I love being a homeowner. We just bought in November. Just had to deal with a water meter leak. Thankfully the city took care of it. I'm so happy for you! Enjoy your new self peace of your very own space!

What an awesome video. The update on the progress of your move coupled with the beautiful nature reflects on your true heart. Several comments indicate to keep the doors white. I have to agree. It helps to reflect the natural light. However, if it is your style to have the door painted, I would make it less of a priority. The doors can be removed and painted later in the garage or outside. Just a suggestion. I make a point to watch your entire video. 😉

I relate to you! I love the animals, birds, all of God’s critters and stop along the way to talk to them and thank God for them. Some people call me childish, but I prefer to see the beauty of the sky, moon and stars and all of God’s creation. It’s the best therapy and it’s free! It cleans our soul!

Indeed quite a beautiful vary spacious property. Leaving what was your "comfort zone" ... But you know, that new house you bought? That will soon become your home sweet home. And lastly I want to say... the doors look better white, I would leave them as is. A door should be a contrast, not match walls. But of course it is YOUR choice and YOUR home.
