Just so u know guys as of 2024 February 04 Sunday 1:38 PM, Denis 'The Menace' Lazavik drew Anish Giri 5 times in a row, drew MVL 4 times in a row and beat him at their last game, drew World #4 bullet player Jose Martinez once and beat him in their next two games, and beat Hikaru twice in a row, all these games are Rapid (10 min)

Hikaru should have played Be3. Forces the Bishop exchange then black queen is attacked. Queen moves then Hikaru can take knight with his queen. Unfortunately he went for too much I guess.

I don't know if people know this. When you are at the top, it is easier for new comers to eventually beat you. France once lost a war, because the general put his strategies in a book. IF a mster stays the same they can easily be read. meaning the master stopped learning new ideas, sumtimes. OR trying sumtihing new to test the indivual. WHen i hear sum guy beat the top player?, what if that top player tried sumthin new to study. Its what i hate about casters. they don't talk with these ideas. Like when they say a newbie beat the master, so what.

hikaru is just overrated player. ppl think he is so good when he plays against lower rated players all day long. he fakes the laugh when he loses or blunders, but he is known to be very toxic for years and years before his rise to fame. to the point where there is a video where he tries to fist fight another gm.
Nonsense, he is toxic for sure but he is not overrated. Lazavik is playing at top form and he is crushing several top GMs, in fact even some GMs are implying he is cheating but i dont think so.
@Bruno08931 well hikaru lost over 30 points in the 2022 World Blitz and didn't even want to enter this year's. He always loses points in the Tata Blitz too.

@@dereknichols4376 that's because Magnus is rated so high even when he draws a high-level player he might lose some points. Hans has been losing games to much lower rated players man, even in major events. I think hikaru lost like over 30 points in the last world or tata Blitz I can't remember.

Knight would simply take bishop. Pawn takes knight queen takes pawn on G6. Queen takes knight on A1 I'm guessing is your plan.... but queen takes on g3 (f pawn pinned) check and it isn't looking any better for hicryu.
