You could probably take a seam splitter or sharp blade and just remove the metal hook. Probably won't help with the zipper issue, but would remove the risk of metal hitting your gear and shave a tiny bit of weight off. I would hope in the future they just use a magnet clasp.
The Peak Design 6 litre everyday bag came out several years ago, is about half the price, and has moveable divider which you can fold to carry two lenses stacked one above the other. I use mine everyday. It does not look like a purse, but this bag certainly does.
Great points and I don’t think it’s a Peak Design rip. I have the 6L PD and its internal baffle system I found totally useless. It does not open out flat like this which is a key feature. It’s front pocket suffers from the same stiffness. It’s similar, not the same. My PD gathers dust. My greatest first order priority with any bag is - where to put my glasses. It’s the first thing I do. Take glasses off, reach for camera. I have a cheap sling from the op shop. Big loose pocket on the front flap. It’s reserved for my sunnies. Question. Can you use the bag as a SAKK Camera Saddle? My cheapo crumply bag easily doubles as a stabiliser when recording hand held. It’s a neato bonus trick.
Thanks for watching. I agree. I just took a look at the Peak 6L Sling. While similar, it is not the same. The Clever Supply bag as a bit more style than the Peak. Not sure about the SAKK. I guess you could lay the CS bag on its side and have a nice flat surface to rest a camera on.
Sorry about the audio being only on the left channel. My mistake for not checking that. I'll do better.
Just ordered my Clever Bag, after I saw their Black Friday 25% sale, so glad to hear your supportive review!
Thanks for watching. I think you made an awesome purchase.
Personally not in the market for a sling but just wanted to say this was a very well done review. You have great camera presence. Subscribed!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you.
This video popped up and I just realised I bought this bag and never used it 😂 will have to find it and give it another chance. Good review
Great review, thanks for sharing. If it wasn't so expensive here in Australia I'd definitely give it a go. Cheers!
Thanks for watching!
That's nice. I like the organization on the inside and how you can pull the separators out. I'd use that as a purse. My purse right now is a wreck 🤣!
Thanks for watching! I think I could use this as a purse as well!
Worth every penny. :-)
Yes indeed it is, thanks for watching.

Nice review! I consider buying it myself. Have you tried applying zipper lubricant?
Not yet!
So where do you put a women's wallet, keys, lip balm, etc. ? Do you leave them in your car? Do you put those things in the lens slot with the lens?
It depends. If I’m bringing a lot,of gear, I would also bring a smaller crossbody for personal items.
It's pricy, but very nice. I enjoy my peak design bag
They make great products. I use their straps and tech pouch. Thanks for watching.
Everyone copies Peak design now 😮
There are similarities, but I prefer the shape and styling of the Clever Bag. Peak Design makes great products. I love their straps.
@Jackie D'Elia please mix your vocals to stereo. For those of us listening with headphones the left-only vocal audio is unbearable.
Thanks for letting me know. I must’ve missed it. Ugh
Mine fits in my pocket.
It only works well if you use cameras without grips.
Good point. This bag is perfect for my gear and might be for others too.
$200? Nope!
Thanks for watching. Another alternative might be the peak design 6 L sling. I haven’t tried it but most of their products get good reviews.
You know this is pretty much a blatant copy of the Peak Design Everyday Sling?
I did not.
@JackieDElia You might like their's better. I use the 6L myself, daily, and I love it.
Perhaps. But I’ve already purchased this one and I love it. I prefer the clever supply look versus the peak design personally.
@@JackieDEliawhen I first saw the bag I smiled, it’s definitely a clone!

"so let's get into it" Gah, I hate that phrase.
Thanks for the feedback.
