I would love to know the history of marching bands , particularly as to how they were developed in the African American schools, and why it’s a predominantly Black tradition in schools….I have become really obsessed with these talented athletes and musicians and love the enthusiasm….the dancers blend a level of talent and athleticism with sexy that is unquestioned and classy….which I find very interesting. Watching a white girl dance/walk like this would absolutely not be the same….
I see a lot of people saying the Band director should just be the band director and let the dance instructor handle the dancers... like is he not in charge of the whole band program or am I missing something??

If the camera people are going to enjoy the privilege of entering amidst the band, they have a responsibility to be sharp as well. The cat with the blue wash cloth on his head isn't measuring up and if I ran the band I wouldn't allow him anywhere near us. Almost unbelievable. The only spectacle should be the band and accompanying crew.
Blue cloth🤣😑... He must have realized or someone must've said something about it because he started down the drum line with it on his head, but before he came back, it was removed. That was tacky, but he could've forgot he put it up there, 😂 !

Stingettes are a dance line or HBCU majorette (and yes other majorette lines use batons but HBCU is different)
