My bag arrived last week. There was just something about the feel of the leather and the mat finish I didn't like. So my husband suggested I put some mink oil on it to brighten up the leather. I did and I couldn't believe all the black dye on the white towel. I believe the leather is raw and was never sealed. I am glad I conditioned it so black die doesn't get all over light colored clothes. The leather now has a little shine to it and feels a lot softer. It's. To me the quality is what I’d expect for the price point. But, it’s certainly not comparable to the quality of even the better contemporary brands.
The variety of textures in the *yutulux* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.

I didn’t manage to get this bag the first time DUYP opened preorders and only managed to preorder the black version earlier this month, 12 weeks feels so long, but I’m trying to be as patient as possible.
She looks so stunning! I can’t wait to see it in buttercream and other colours they might be released in

The duo pink and burgundy are SO pretty! I didnt lije the duo pink at first, but the more I look at it, the more it’s growing on me… im also eyeing the graphite grey 🫣
New subbie here! Great first impression video. I preordered mine in the camel color but I’m a black handbag kinda girl so I just may need it in black too. I used to own the LV pochette Métis and it sadly just wasn’t worth the price to me. Love that DUYP came out with this one because I did find myself missing the silhouette.

Great review. It is a really nice bag. We are the same height. It's nice to know how it works for a petite girl. I have the Burt's Bees spray handsanitizer coming today. I do not like the feel of gel ones, and some of the sprays are really expensive. Since I saw it on your channel, I thought I'd give it a try. ❤

Great video! I also have this bag but haven’t used it yet. Actually there is one thing I‘m worried about. When I wear this bag, the strap clips touch the leather on both sides of the bag. The LV Pochette Métis (Empreinte leather) has this problem too. I saw some photos showing wear and tear of the leather of the Pochette Metis caused by the fact that the strap clips constantly touch and rub against the leather. I’m afraid that this can happen to the Paris 15 bag.

The leather on the Paris 15 is very durable and supple. It feels very high quality. I believe they are made in Hong Kong

The bag weighs a little less than 2 lbs with both straps inside. With my daily items it’s not too heavy and I use the leather strap. Today I packed it a little more for a day trip and I’m using the fabric strap. She’s a bit heavy but not unbearable. I wear it crossbody mostly. Can’t wait until you get yours!
That’s my concern too! I asked duyp before ordering and they said 0,570 kg (1 pound 4,1 ounce)

@@susannegreve3827 without the straps, bag empty it weight 1 lb 7.6 oz. With the straps in the bag I got 1 lb 8.3oz 🤷🏻♀️

Is it me or is the lock crooked? The upper metal part (that goes into the lock) seems not to be fully aligned to the point of the flap and it is slightly tilted (not fully horizontal). I even noticed on the promotion pictures on DUYP’s website .. 😮
I just looked at it again with the bag empty and I don’t see it crooked on mine… I even held a ruler up against it and it was aligned 🤔 hmm now you have me staring at this lock from all angles lol

Mine had a chemical smell, but very faint. What I did was air it out and it went away in less than an hour. Thanks for watching 😊
New leather bags frequently have a chemical smell. It will dissipate with use. I couldn’t handle the smell so I bought charcoal bags from Amazon and stored the bag with the charcoal and it helped.

Please look after your health, zicam was banned for sale in the US because it permanently damages your sense of smell. It's allowed for sale now, but the formula did not change

lol it’s a brand that offers great quality handbags at an affordable price. Makes luxury silhouettes accessible to everyone. I think a lot of companies even the big dogs get inspiration from each other like Celine and Ateliers Auguste but I see what you’re saying 😂

The list goes on….. how about we steer clear of saying people are copying higher priced brands and we collectively say: i refuse to pay- nay… REWARD bugger named brands when a small business can make the same floor plan better at a cost others can justify and support?
I personally dont want to conform to using posh brands for the sake of the trends. But i like the silhouettes of certain bags. So i am thankful a small business managed to make a selection available. I will reward THAT with my business/$
