This movie was oddly kind of enjoyable on it's own, awesome made-for-TV intro theme! All it was really missing was Tony Musante as a kind of hip Satan that solves crimes.
Bit of trivia here: The speech that Satan gives to Melissa and Jodie ("I am friend and companion to the night. I rejoice in spilled blood and the baying of dogs," etc.) is lifted almost word for word from the H.P. Lovecraft short story " Horror at Red Hook." Lovecraft himself got the quotation from Hippolytus' *Refutation of all Heresies.* Hippolytus, a Christian writer, was describing the supposed rituals involved in worship of Hecate, the three-headed goddess of the underworld. "Gorgo," "Mormo," and "Luna," were the names of her three heads. ("I am Gorgo and Mormo and the thousand-faced moon.") I just thought that was interesting. Those words sounded way too cool to have originated with this movie.
"I just wanna see if he gets his shoes on...ye...yes...great, glad they showed that to us."Out of all of the great lines in this movie, this always makes me fall over laughing the most.
There's a similar line from one of the Rifftrax episodes that I've edited, Bill gets really stoked that the guy returns to write something down and that one always gets a laugh out of me.
Thanx that means a lot and is much appreciated. I enjoy rewatching them from time to time and hope to eventually have at least 30 of the funniest episodes on the playlist.
This movie was one of the MST3K oeuvre that, had it been in the hands of more competent filmmakers, could have been really good. There are even a few really good moments that were genuinely brilliant and not accidentally so. As it is, however, it's great snark bait.
I can tell you guys this..was lucky to get 4th row tickets to see Paul McCartney at the Glendale, AZ arena back in 2004 or so. David Spade was right in front of me in the 3rd row and the most beautiful blonde lady tapped him on the shoulder and asked him something and Spade totally dissed her. I couldn't believe it. I would have killed my sister for that lady if she would have asked! Kidding of course, but you get my drift. Spade was truly rude to her and a complete asshole IMHO. PS, if wondering, Spade was alone and not with a date. Just some true tales from the field all. I know others out here in Phx who went to school with David Spade and say he is a cool dude. So who knows?
"I sure hope he said peanuts."

I know this town well! The ‘Carnation’ market is still around - a restaurant now. Ironically very pricey real estate these days. Santa Ynez, CA
"Wow. Grandma used to work for the LAPD..."
So deadpan it almost slips past unnoticed
the strange urge to drown myself in *CARNATION ICE CREAM* just came over me..
Ah, the Yelling Channel. Takes me back to visiting family over the holidays.

Cool, thanx for the information. I was just reading a Lovecraft story a few nights ago for Halloween.
That would explain all the long pauses and dumb things we're supposed to take seriously as "horror."
@@calypsokiosko9067 Not a Lovecraft fan, I take it?
"With Mitchum you can skip a week"
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for including the Gymboree joke!!! I've seen 3 different "Best of..." of this episode & they all left out this joke.
It's a funny joke, plus the way Mike says it makes it priceless.
You nailed it!! Thanks again & keep 'em coming!!
1:05 When sore throat pain STRIKES
Highly underrated!!

18:50 - 19:10… just assume he’s wearing the shoes from now on 😂
🎶 what do you get when you fall from grace? You only get cast into perdition 🎶
The part at the end when the credits went back a few seconds - "AHH, Satan!!" That made me laugh unexpectedly.
I wanted to fly, but I couldn’t so, I ran... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for these, dude. They're great

“I’ll get more fresh blood”

“The Touch of Satan, softens your hands while you do the dishes”
🎵When there’s just a touch of Satan in your heart🎵
Sightsee on your own time, Beelzebub!!!...🤣
(laughs) And then he *DIED!*
That's my favorite morbid joke of all time.
1:49 - Mermaid Man!
They should claim credit for the plot of the Netflix show “Lucifer”
This was one of the best. Top 3 easy.
~~~ROBERT THE CAT~~~
- Chief Mouser of the Barn -
Whoa..hotdog, French fries, Ramon noodles..wow look at him go!
Zaa, ya'll.
This is where the fish lives...
Crow: "This is where my tongue lives."
The vineyards of Ernest and Julio....satan.
This is where the fish live🐠
I always wondered if it was just the one fish. (LOL)
One of my favorites!! Thanks for what you do & keep up the good work!! 👍👍👏👏👏👏👏😁😄😂
A guy falls in love with a misunderstood witch? It's a good idea. The film was sort of misfire.
Yeah but 'The Fish' totally deserves an Oscar for his cameo.
I've got to wonder if this was an attempt to capitalize on the "Bewitched" TV show, but with a darker, "mature" plot
"The editor got called out of the room a lot, I guess..."
TALK QUICKER!
And her eyebrows never, ever came back.
I think the director was trying to go for the same vibe as the original Wicker Man and failed
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Thank you🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😀
Elements of Psycho.
