I hold the button and it shows white but the light doesn’t blink it just stays white consistently until I let go of the button on the case . Anyone know how to fix this ?
If the Bluetooth settings say your AirPods are connected, but sound is still playing out of the speaker. Uncheck "Automatic Ear Detection" In Airpod settings.
Forgetting them in settings then powering it off to connect them again works! But the same problem I’m still having is I can only connect them when they’re charging
Guys I fixed them. I charged them for about 30 mins, deleted them on all my devices(forget, and delete them off find my) and they just magically wanted to connect again, but the name on them was changed. I don’t know if I had good karma or if smacking them worked. Hope this helps
I was finally able to find the solution after having done all the possible solutions on all the videos that I was able to see and the comments, I hope this will help you in fact you will just have to make sure to charge your airpods case to 100 % I did it from evening to next day and when I woke up I removed my charger and the case displayed a green LED so I turned on my phone, I activated my bluetooth, I opened the box and I continue to press for at least 10 seconds so that the white LED flashes and in the end I didn't need them because my cell phone detected them after a few seconds of holding the button. so for me what saved me was the green LED and I can guarantee you that I had done more than 10 other solutions which did not work
To everyone who clicked forget device on AirPods and they aren’t reconnecting. You need to be on the latest software update and then charge your AirPods for a 1 or 2 hours and it will work.
My phone does not detect AirPods, holding button on case does not make light flash. I have tried updating, downloading, etc. does not work. They are clean, charged yet nothing.

Ok so this is for everyone who forget device on AirPods and now they won’t reconnect 1) you’re going to need a separate pair of AirPods (borrow a friend’s) 2) connect them to your phone ( or preferred device) and play music with them connected 3) next your going to want to share audio and you want to share it with your AirPods 4)It’s going to ask you to go through the steps of sharing your audio and with doing so your AirPods should pop up and connect You can disconnect from the other AirPods and go through the steps of setting your AirPods up
Lock your phone and open the case with the airpods inside and hold the button . An airpod popup (prox card) should appear making it able to connect to your phone.

The iPhone picks up that the AirPods aren’t connected but won’t connect at all. It sits there telling me to hold down the button. No changes after that, it’s never been paired before, it’s not in the list of devices either. They are fully charged and can be picked up by my android. I reset my iPhone, I reconnected my Bluetooth many times, I have tried the process repeated.

If you have another Apple device like an iPad, try connect the AirPods to that. I found it wasn’t connecting to my phone. So I did that and it synced through icloud so it paired with my phone again. Weird af
I tired the hardreset of pushing that button for 45 sec but nopes. It stays orange when I open and then stays white once I click on button and then goes quickly off. My AirPods don’t show up on both Mac and my iPhones Bluetooth. So time to plug in those old school earphones for awhile 😂

thank you they weren't connecting to my laptop. it was getting real annoying. I reset them how you did it. And they started to connect easily again.

I literally tried everything to fix my airpods pro and then my brother came and slapped my airpods with his slippers and now its working agian😭😭😭
