ADOreD: Luis Angel Garcia

Video Interview with Luis Angel Garcia Reyes about this research project: "Tools Development for Stability and Interaction Assessment of Large Modern Power Systems Dominated by Power Electronics."
"The significance of my PhD project lies in the fact that modern power systems are incorporating a huge amount of power electronics. Basically, this interaction causes that power system operate in a different way. For that reason, we try to develop some new tools to enhance the representation of power system and, with this, represent in a best way: faults, disturbances...using different kind of stability relevant indices" says Luis Angel highlighting the relevance of his project.
Luis Angel is enrolled at the Technical University of Catalonia, and his host organisation is Red Eléctrica de España (Redeia).
ADOrED (Accelerating the Deployment of Offshore Wind using DC technology) is a European industrial doctoral network focused on training in Offshore Wind and HVDC technology in collaboration with academia and industry.
ADOrED is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions(MSCA) Fund for Excellent Research and Innovation in the framework of Horizon Europe.
ADOrED started in October 2022 and will be completed by September 2026. It is led by Professor Nicolaos A. Cutululis from DTU Wind and Energy Systems.
