I need to learn from you and that Angry Atrox kid about close-ups. You guys do a good job with that. 3:28 love that habitat shot! 4:52 Mamushi alert! Love the rats, but the mamushis are dang cool-looking snakes.
Yeah, you can definitely learn from Todd "How to do it" and then learn from me "How not to do it". Lol. All pit vipers are cool-looking but I prefer colubrids. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@hitcher1119 I wouldn’t say that. LOL. Mine and @Snakes on the Plains secret is starting to be revealed by more people. Man @Smetlogik Herping I need to put together a video on how I get the shots and then only share it with friends. This was a great video Hitch.
I appreciate it! I couldn't decide whether to make a couple of short videos or a longer one. Spent quite a while thinking it over and then just dumped almost all my footage into one video. Which way do you like it better? I would appreciate your perspective on this.
@@hitcher1119 to me, if showing several snakes I would use the longer video. Anything over ten minutes is often too long for me unless it really keeps you engaged!
Well, Connor, we don't have any true garters here. The similar red-backed rat snake is in the vid right after the Ussuri pit viper. Tiger keelbacks which also resemble some garters are not so easy to find and I have had no luck with them this month. Maybe, next time.

Как всегда зачетно и познавательно, хоть стал определять благодаря вашим видео узорчатого полоза, коих в наших краях не мало))

Very cool finds! Great video as well! Keep up the good work!! 🐍
Thanks a lot!
When I thought it was a non-venomous snake, a scary guy appeared in the second half
Yes, there are a lot of Ussuri pit vipers in this video! Thanks for watching!
Top notch video! Super photography, great music and beautiful snakes! The Amur Rat Snake near the end was my favorite!!
Thanks a lot! I do love Amur rat snakes. I wish I could find them more often.
Your rat snakes are simply the best! We're those garter snakes?
Thanks for stopping by and watching! Sorry, didn't quite get your question.
@@hitcher1119 did you find garter snakes in addition to the rat snakes?

@@hitcher1119 thank you for the info. They were incredible snakes!
Amazing video my friend.
Thank you! Odie is a cool guy, no wonder his shorts are going up! I bet he's going to be monetized soon!
