This is the first song I heard from twenty one pilots. My older brother at the time had been living with me, my other brother, and our parents, often he would walk around the house and sing small bits and parts of his favorite songs. i’ve been listening to tøp for about 10 years and although i have many favorite songs, this one has always held a special place in my heart. it helped me out in so many different ways and multiple times. i always find myself coming back here to listen to it.
after 10 years i finally saw them in concert for the very first time last night and they performed forest. words cannot express how i felt when i heard tyler start to sing this.

I know this sounds really edgy or something but this was my best friend's favorite bands and he sent a bunch of their songs to me cause he thought that I'd be into it, and this one always stuck out in my mind. But some random night in 2023 I’m here remembering how much I loved them and how much I needed them back then, life has taken me down a completely different road. Why can I only find like one comment actually praising this song? It’s so weird. Well here’s a second one, this song has helped me get all of my emotions out and has helped me understand myself better. This is an awesome song.
This is the first song I heard from twenty one pilots. My older brother at the time had been living with me, my other brother, and our parents, often he would walk around the house and sing small bits and parts of his favorite songs. I would always hear him singing this song and one day I heard him listening to it in the shower. As quick as my little child fingers could I scrammed the lyrics into the UA-cam search bar on my dads phone, as soon as I found it I listened to it nonstop for about 2 years. Every time I now listen to the song an instant feeling of nostalgia washes over me and I feel all happy. Sense then I've gone to a twenty one pilots concert and heard about every song they've made including music from RaB and self titled, I've also seen their movie. I also have a ned shirt and plushie. I owe myself still being here to twenty one pilots. They have saved me and made me feel safe for every night I've cried myself to sleep or tried to end it.

Somehow, I had never heard this before. But just now, at 12:30am as I’m trying to calm myself enough to fall asleep, I just stared at my bedroom ceiling.
