When I cleared all my cookies & cache data my passwords were erased. Is there a way to clear all with out my password being erased?

I'm not sure if you can reply to this. Regarding mobile firefox android its different than windows The option says "clear browsing history and site data." Does clearing site data delete your saved logins? If so why do they have delete browsing history and site data together. If you want to only delete your browsing history you can't without deleting site data at the same time. Why do they have the two together?
Also why can we never have saved logins when deleting cookies. Is there any way to get around that? Thanks.
