To be honest Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire looks much better in trailers and videos than in the game itself while it's the other way around for Emerald, I'm not a fan of seeing Emerald in videos on UA-cam but once I'm playing it it's a completely different feeling

You playing AlphaSapphire next is honestly completely in line with what you've been doing anyway, FireRed and SoulSilver, are also remakes. You're basically going with the more polished versions of each region. After ORAS you could jump straight to BDSP for Gen 4. Gens 5 and 6 don't have remakes yet. Same with 8 and 9 of course but theyre very new anyway. But for Gen 7, the Ultra versions of the games are the ones worth playing just FYI, they basically did instant remakes/rereleases of those because the originals were kind of a flop 🤭

Again, Emerald and ORAS are pretty different so it's definitely worth playing both, but you will probably have a pretty great time with whichever game you start with. Most of the complaints some people have with ORAS compared to emerald really will not matter to you as you casually try out the franchise for the first time, many of the critique points people have are pretty hard core. Tbh, I'm not sure any gen.3 game(either Emerald or the remakes) are a good follow up for your next game. Because Emerald is the same engine as you already experienced in FireRed. And Omega/Alpha are gen.6 games, which weren't very well received. I'd actually suggest a gen.7 game(Sun and Moon) instead, if you're going with 3ds games. They have a LOT more JRPG-ish story/characterization than the ones you've played, so I think it would be up your alley.
Not a problem seeing an omega ruby playthrough instead of emerald. You will find it easier developing your team as all your pokemon are exp locked,at the battles every member on your team gains exp points. But the transition is gonna be difficult if you return after OR to play Platinum (if you are gonna-i don't suggest you play the remakes of sinnoh region). But we are always happy seeing you play pokemon and enjoying it.

I wouldn't recommend playing Omega ruby or alpha sapphire first because you will end up getting spoiled by something in the game which is in another game before it and I will not say what it is instead I would just recommend playing through Emerald first.
Emerald is good, but if you are not interested in the battle frontier, Omega Ruby is better, you have QoL features, Mega evolutions, Delta Episode and modern exp share
Actually pryna and umbra are both Luna’s dog but pryna represents Luna and umbra represents Noctis. Spoiler alert though pryna dies because of how close she was to Luna not to mention she was an oracle too? Luna’s death effected her 😭 Also I don’t know why people are telling you how to pronounce the Pokémon’s name, that’s so weird.
