Companies deduct the TDS in advance from Jan to March and deposit it in July. Meanwhile they earn the interest of 6 month in this whole process.

I always tell my colleagues, dont give interest free money to government, do declaration in advance and even if they make RD or FD with amount they get in hand it will give good returns. But they are like i will work 10 to 12 hrs for company each day and give interest free loan to government and pay service fee to CA but dont want to invest time in educating themselves about tax declaration.🤷♂️

Thats not the complete truth. The income tax department provides interest on the refund amount to the taxpayer for the delay in refund. An interest of 0.5% per month is paid till the date on which the refund is granted. However, such interest is not payable when the tax refund is less than 10% of the total tax liability.

From your caption i was thinking of a problem. Like how the companies or banks overcome these problems. Assume a bank is giving me loan on an interest rate of 4% but due to economic crisis the inflation skyrocketed for a 4 year period and the amount I payed back after that 4year period would be based on 4% interest rate than wouldn't it be a loss to the bank? Or all the banks provide loan on floating interest rates only?
They dont only give loans of a single type, firstly they have reserves, then different classes of loans like fixed floating, also they invest money in securities, and also when fixed interest loan is gives rate is adjusted with the estimation of future periods.
