I also wanted to know more about the 3-link truck, so I made this video. I covered the basic setup and application of the truck, so I hope it will be helpful to those who need it. I would also like to thank Madwheelz (Brian) for providing me with a lot of information that allowed me to make this content.
*Yewwwhh!!* 🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽 As a truck geek I enjoyed this one! I had no idea there were so many different ways/options to set this up, so cool! Great follow up video bro! Loved the ridin footage too 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thank you as always bro :) Yes, this truck definitely had a wide range of configurable options. And the truck's response changes were definitely felt depending on each setting. Also, it was a unique truck compared to existing trucks due to its different operating mechanism.
Love the vids as always. So I have a exway atlas pro 4wd. I would love to have these and see how it'll be with a 4wd setup. Would probably have to have two rear 3-link trucks but if you can adjust it accordingly I can see it working out well and being highly unique.
can you go into more detail on the radius rod length in the different positions? bent some in the past...I will definitely try the short setup next go around since they are probably stronger
Amazing content but as always I'm suggesting every eskate content creators to collab with new filmmaker creators. Then it'll be a more productive content
Most trucks have the problem where the middle position has no resistance and the further you turn the more resistance you get. These make the center position unstable. I wonder what trucks get around that problem. I hate all the twitchy trucks I have ridden. Most feel bad on the center position when you are cruising.
3 links are steer and stick. So there is no progressive resistance. Dualities are very close to this but are slightly progressive, and also easier to adjust. Both have no center instability.
@@HaunchoJackHD While good, they’re have all the same issues inherent in RKPs which 3 links and Dualities do not have (and specifically what the OP is concerned about - you need to be on an edge to maximize stability).

That sounds like an interesting idea. If you try it, please let me know.
That is my next board a diy 3 link (moe stooge ) i love my matrix trucks but this looks like more nimble.
I look forward to your new work. :)

Rods are upgraded to hardened steel. No bent issue after the first batch.
thanks...I guess that makes me feel a little less like a stooge noob

The Hoyt trucks are super stable I hit 50 with no wobbles and still turn on the track without adjusting the tension

А насколько отличается вес по сравнению с классической подвеской?
Думаю, вес был похож или чуть легче.
Trucks are ugly looking not good 😥
