I respect Jhunjhunwala. IMHO Jhunjhunwala doesn't speak his mind completely because he knows that his words has the potential to reverse market sentiment.
History says that whenever the index p/e ratio crosses 25,(during which retail is excited) it goes back to 15 levels (during which real investors get excited). It is better to have less than 30% of your net worth in equities considering current valuations and sentiment. If market goes down to less than 15 p/e (noone will agree it will), commit more than 70% of your net worth. The advice looks simple but has worked consistently for a long time.

In inflation adjusted terms the Sensex and Nifty has still not crossed the 2007 peak. Most of the stock moves have been selective. And the multiples are still high.

Big investor has book all profit in mid cap small cap stock and sold out saying valution are high, but you all are taken mid cap stock on higher valution once we small investor like us started investment in mid and small cap then you all have book and shift to large cap.

I disagree with Mr jhunjunwala on selling of psu companies ......what's the need for selling profitable public sector companies. .....only loss making psu companies who are incurring losses for a long time with out any hope of profit should be sold off ..... cheers

It will be a BJP Government but not lead by Modi. As a investor in Stock markets investing in Sensex we find during UPA 10 years it went up by 16.7% CAGR while the right wing BJP Government it gave only a CAGR of 9.7% .The Fact is a Economist as PM is better than a CHAI walla as PM
