Srinivasan is very disappointed with RJ. his responses are not in line with what NDTV approves. I have never seen a channel that is no negative about India and really enjoys India and the govt failing. Rakesh is intelligent and he is a thorough business man , he knows speaking negatively of the government will get him a ED, CBI , SEBI notice, they will investigate his manipulations of the market and how he got his millions. We can all assume that economy is ok to go with, provided inflation stays in check, we dont lose our jobs, farmers are happy. Modi is a good orator as long as he can keep the people entertained we can go along, but Nirmala is incompetent. Let us see how the economy goes from here on. People who suffer first hand and have voted BJP have to decide if it is good or bad for them. NDTV is doing its job, I am surprised how it is still functioning. India always had formal and informal economy and still does. But last 4-5 years the govt is operating to breakdown and eventually integrate into formal economy, these kind of correction occurs. And these correction are necessary. Remember after u get operated u won't be fit and healthy immediately, it takes some time to recuperate. But eventually u will turn more healthier than before.
Sep2019 Nifty = 112xx, today nifty 178xx. 50% increase. RJ was bang on when he said "it is time to buy in 2019"

I have been writing that the situation isnt that bad as it is being made out.Infact we are a well established economy given the fact that services sector and agriculture drive our growth.The software industry still remains the pillar of economy given the jobs created and they are high paying ones as well which sustain the auto and Housing markets.
You just need to be patient and things will get steady,PM must act against Bank cheats and avoid taking on the tax payers.
From 2021 we will be back to a steady growth of 7%
I agree wid u harun. Actually after the introduction of IBC code 2016 there has been significant amount of recovery frm Defaulting NPAs. This is the reason why Banks & NBFCs are now getting cautious in giving loans. Also the slowdown in auto sector is bcoz of removal of OCTROI nakas after introduction of GST. Earlier it wud take 6 days for a truck to reach Maharashtra to Chennai & now it takes 2 days as there are no check posts. This is just a slowdown which is temporary. After getting adjusted to this the economy will still bounce back.
In dreams we might achieve that much growth. With this type of reckless handling of economy, we will stand nowhere in near future. This govt. is just using Hit and trial and error method and nothing else.
Actually services make 54% GDP by sector so since auto industry has slowed down owing to improper gst rates so people were buying less cars.
But the recent gst reforms and corporate tax cuts showed us a positive sign.
This shows that Both the Channel & the anchor are anti Govt. Mr Jhunjhunwala has given a befitting reply to the anchor. It proves whatever Modi Govt has been doing good for the Country. The channel members will always feature in negative view point.

IMHO, this was a lost opportunity. Discussion was 90% political, 10% economics. Neither the interviewee nor the interviewer wanted to talk sense, both were hell bent on bashing each other and upping their political ideology. Even this discussion in 2020, was political. Economy loses in the end.
