@@Wolf_ManJack Zilliax is also a pretty big (if obscure) meme too. He's basically every Bionicle set in existence rolled into one thing. Even his intro quote is a reference to a corny battlecry from the old Bionicle comics. Which makes sense, Zilliax's card text is just a description of all the shiny parts you can snap onto other sets to make them bigger/cooler/more complicated.
I like how they put Azure Drake in wild because "it was pushing out other 5 drops" from seeing play. Then they go ahead and print ziliax, which now takes up the 5 slot in just about every deck besides spell hunter.
Azure Drake wasn't even close to broken, they just didn't print any good 5 drops back then so everyone ran Azure Drake. One of the more annoying hall of fame choices imo.
They don't seem to mind if an expansion introduces a card like that, because it will eventually rotate out. Azure drake was classic, so it wouldn't ever rotate out. Hence why Ragnaros got the axe but they printed lich king.
Kibler: That opponent was totally sniping you. No one in their right mind would ever use the Cabal Shadow Priest on a 1/2 like that unless they had just heard your plan, like if they were stream sniping. Luckily, your deck has lots of random ... and it's hard to effectively play around random, even when you can see exactly what the person has in hand, since random is random.
Dude this deck is so much fun! I've got an Radiant Elemental out of Menacing Nimbus and was able to evolve my whole board on turn six. I never laughed so hard after a game of Hearthstone.
If I want to play a budget version of this deck, what legendarys would you cut? I've got only Krag'wa but about 4.8k dust, don't have every non-legendary card from this deck
He is very good. He fits in so many places simply because he does so many things for you - he heals you for 6, gives you a sturdy taunt, deals fast damage, and sticks around as something the opponent has to spend resources to remove as fast as possible. The fact that he is so flexible and just a powerhouse means not having him in your collections is like bringing checkers pieces to a chess match.
Power theory: 1 mana = 1 card = 1 damage = heal 2 = 1/1 in stats (currently most cards are a bit better than that but that's the bottom line). So. Zilliax is 3/2 in stats. Which is worth 2,5 mana. He has taunt. Which is worth about 0.5 mana. He has divine shield+rush combo which basically ammounts to: deal 3 damage. Which is worth 3 mana. And he heals for 6 (usually) Which is worth 3 mana. This gives a total of 9 mana worth of value in a 5 mana card. It also is a mech, and it is quite versitile: just playing it on empty board is not extremally bad. So all in all. Super strong card. But compare it to say 4 mana call to arms in even pally. Which was 1 card which drew 3 2 mana cards, and instantly played them. Which is also a 9 mana value card. But a turn earlier.
tiPtarB I'd say a vanilla 3/2 is 2 mana, heal 6 (can be more or likely less) is 2 mana, taunt about 0.5, deal 3 is average 2 mana. Round down the 0.5 because he has to attack taunt, that amounts to 6 mana value on a 5 mana card. Still qualifies as autoinclude. Magnetic is not even accounted for.
Holy crap that string of RNG was actually insane. Evolve into top deck kragwa when you have zero tempo. The sorcerers apprentice hits. Then he hits sherazin. And he has kragwa back in his deck. Jesus.

What other deck could he play? All the other meta decks have no variation, they always play out the same (cue spell/big hunter, quest odd warrior, otk pali or elemage) At least with frogvolve there's variation in how each game plays out. I would go so far as to say that this is the MOST exciting and variable deck that Kibler could play at legend. EDIT: Shoutout to tesspionage rogue if anyone still plays it, no.1 variety deck
OohSorry he has said that he genuinely finds hearthstone, specifically this meta boring , which I can definitely agree on, and he's said this is the only deck that he can enjoy because there's variation to it each game.
What's a replacement for Zilliax? Kibler: "How about Golden Zilliax?" Hahaha, savage but so true. That card is insane and slots into almost any deck.
Peter Jones we need more legendaries that are decent, but not OP. Like zilliax! Our current legendary pool is kinda weak, barring hero cards.
Any deck that appreciates decently priced *Removal + Heal + Taunt* wants a Zilliax.
It's more of a question of "Why NOT Zilliax?"
Only deck that doesn't need zilliax is an even one.

+liger04 I had no clue about thay, pretty cool thanks for sharing
Instructions unclear, tried this and evolved into a doomsayer instead of sorceress' apprentice.
That's why you never evolve your 2 drop last XD
The music choice is so good. Perfectly complements the gameplay at certain points as well.

@@Skullhawk13 Yes as long as the terrible card design comes in waves and costs 1600 dust instead of 100 everything is fine. Gotta love this dev team.

"That is how you beat a priest" - Yeah, no, sure, just evolve into infinite value #forehead How did I not think of this? :D
Lol true, but also more specifically, that mojo master was absolutely brilliant timing, so take notes on that

lmao

Yep you can get Radiant of Menacing and Earthen, but the best is whne you evolve into him or Apprentice :3
Kibler did not Greet Priest *REEEEEEEEEEEE*
I love this deck! Evolutions are so fun

Me: oh yeah, another 30 minute game?
Video: less than 6 minutes long

How good is zillax exactly? And why does he fits in almost every deck?
Antique healbot was a staple in control and that was a 5 mana 3/3 heal 8. Zilliax will usually heal for 6 while also acting as removal and taunt.

its like 5 mana - 3/2 taunt deal 3 damage to enemy minion and heal for 3
