Im a stainless steel welder in the food processing industry & where i use to work, we used baldor belt sanders and buffers. They were really high quality but very expensive. The company i work for now does the same kind of work but they don't have a belt sander but I'd like to get one to make my job faster, easier and more convenient. Im seriously thinking of getting one of these.
Can you mount it upright to make knives? Also I’ve read that these are made in Australia and that there are no replacement parts available. Is that the truth? Thanks!
+davidkozelsky hello David, you can mount them upright and this tool is perfect to make knives. You might want to look at our website to check out our other models. And to answer your question, these were designed in Australia and we have plenty of parts for them. Here’s is our website. www.multitool-usa.com
Miguel Escobar if it’s mounted upright, to use it for a knife making, I’d have to turn the entire grinder around to have the support plate on my side and even doing that the belt would be spinning the wrong way. Am I correct?
