hi, i am looking at getting this procedure done. I have a pretty severe tongue tie, but have never actually suffered from any speech impediments/issues growing up. Will getting a frenectomy affect my speech? Is there a chance of a frenectomy causing a lisp?

There are generally very few indications for removing a tongue tie. Many patients with severe tongue ties have no speech problems, and having a frenectomy is definitely not going to cause a lisp.
