Nice! Now this just gives good vibes man. Really want to make and test out some homemade diy washes. Specially, this sundrop paint I want to try and recreate it too. Both as a wash and as a paint kind of things. Cus I’ve never would’ve thought of this tope of thing if I hadn’t seen you video. I do have black, brown and green homemade washes. But I don’t have one like this one. Thanks for sharing ❤.
I've been painting warhammer minis for a bit over 20 years so when I got into boardgames it was pretty natural for me to paint those too. I did my own wash on Ankh by spraying them with a clear matte varnish to keep the original plastic base colors. A run with some slightly thinned down contrast and a drybrush did wonders for them. I did not get sundrop on my Lords of Ragnarok since I plan on doing my own there as well. Doing a full on paint job can be really cool, but for game pieces it can often make the pieces difficult to identify at a glance, so doing this as you are is actually really useful for gameplay purposes.
What is your miniature holder?? Do you use putty to keep them in place? Or do they click onto that? Would love to know it
That is something called blue tac smooshy non permanent putty. People use it to hang posters when they can’t use thumb tacks.
Thanks for sharing. Wanted something fairly simple and I'm not a good painter. This is awesome!

Thanks that’s what I was thinking too.
Amazing video, thank you for this! Quick question though: what were you using to prime these? Thank you!
Grey seerer grey from games workshop has been my go to for years now. I'm hopeing to start with airbrush soon but old habits die hard.
@@PecktecGames Cheers thanks!
Great stuff, I’m getting inspired to speed paint my Rising Sun. :) And DEI when I get it at Christmas. Thanks!
DEI was fun to paint.
Do you do a spray paint primer first?
Yes I do.
@julienmarneffe3716 yeah I don't do the zenithal for me it just looks kind of dirty if your not painting it all the way.
