The input captures at 48khz? Didn't the sp1200 top off at 26.04 kHz and sp12 at 27.5 kHz? I get it however, the aliasing is there. Would need to hear how it sounds in a mixed track. I'd also like to hear a four way comparison between sp12, sp1200, and the ISLA 2400. Maybe even throw in an Emax for fun.
great tutorial // 4:42: pressing & then turning the DATA1, quantizes to even semitones [pitch] / why only aliasing in the receiving ch - you could add it when playing the original sample +16 too // it is strange that you have to adjust sample start:end points right after sampling (i experience it too), why can't they set them default the whole length of the sample
so original channel & re-sampled channel both on 12b & 89% aliasing? // love my Assimil8tor 2, just whished they added a reset to default (0) button // so you do have a control forge too then, with so many sattelites?
Yep, just make sure you pitch up the original channel and pitch back down the new channel the same amount for this to work. I do have a Control Forge! & 7 satellites
7:11 thank me later
the 16 down sounds wicked!
thanks for the video, didnt know the history before this video

This saves you a lot of money compared to buying a new Rossum SP12 which involves a wait time and $4K
It was worth every second of the wait and worth every penny. The best part: it’s fun and exciting.
The audio of the sample was removed

@@discodiscosnfrncisco thx, gonna try it the other way 'round (upsampling/pitching)
hilarious...spend a ton of bread on a super high quality sampler only to try to get an old aliased sound 😂
Can't hear a difference
Did you ever get your hearing fixed?
Well, wasted 10min there...
