Fym shows are still going off lmao you posted comment on an amazing year for UKHC, such a clapped comment take it to a Pink Floyd video and show up to a show
I am laughing at how sick this is. They were once truly sick as fuck. I saw them a bunch of times in the late 90's and early 2000's and they always killed it. Last time I saw them was with Obituary and Cro-Mags in 2019 and they were way too hip-hop and bouncy. Cro-Mags was laughably bad but I don't think they were ever that great. Obituary slammed for 55 minutes straight and stole the show. Yeah I'm old. I will still stagedive on you.
This is pure speculation but there’s a video of them playing there in 1996 where a huge fight breaks out and the venue pretty much clears out. I don’t know exactly what happened for it to escalate to that level of an altercation but it didn’t look good. I’m sure he was just trying to be cognizant throughout this show so something like that didn’t happen again at this venue.

@@julesickdrums I agree completely dude, it was hard to watch especially cause the guy gets hit out of nowhere. Really disheartening to see. Even precovid I hadn’t been to a hardcore show in years so I have no idea if things like still happen or not. I’m hoping that kind of violence/behavior isn’t around anymore.
People got hit all the times at these shows. I remember the bathroom was always cover with blood from all the bloody noses including mine. There would be blood on the ground leading to the bathroom. This was normal to us back then and Hatebreed weren't new to this shit. They're very familiar with the NY hardcore scene. So I doubt he was nervous. Probably just cautious.
